We stayed at the Alla Turca on the recommendation of friends. It was our first time in Turkey and we were not dissapointed. Everything about the hotel is fantastic. It has a unique atmosphere and all the staff are so friendly. We have travelled to many places but Dalyan is one of the prettiest holiday destinations. There are numerous restaurants and we didnt have a bad meal during our two week stay. Ali Baba's was one of the best.
The river is so beautiful and you can sit and watch the world go by or hire a boat and explore. We have never returned to the same resort twice but I am sure Dalyan will be the exception

I chose to go to the Alla Turca on the back of the reviews on tripadvisor. It is a lovely place to stay and the staff can't do enough for you. My holiday was great but everything you bought in hotel was greatly overpriced. There is a huge selection for breakfast but they charged 6TL for fresh orange juice and they were up at you with the bill almost before you got back to your seat. Also the managers were very strict with the waiting staff.

Amazing place, lovely staff, extemely clean everywhere, pool area and gardens gorgeous. Good variety at breakfast. Free evening meal on first night which was lovely. Had lunch a couple of times and although a bit more expensive than the town, it was worth it. There is a lovely cafe at the beginning of the path and turn right where you can sit by the river and see fish and turtles. Loads of restaurants in Dalyan to chose from but our favourite was Temsi - nice and peaceful, lovely food and excellent staff. Recommnet the turkish bath and reflexology next to the hotel - reception will call them and they pick you up when you want and bring you back - lovely experience. If i could fault anything it would be the stret dogs - not being a dog lover, i found this off putting as they are everywhere during the evening. Would like to say a special mention to Moira the hotel customer relations person who was lovely, extremely helpful and a credit to the hotel. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and area (far better than SIDE) - Thomas cook need a more hands on REP though!!

We chose this hotel purely based on the Trip Advisor reviews, and they are all spot on !
If you arrive in the middle of the night as we did, we were greeted by a porter and consierge, and were in our room within 5 minutes of arriving, after being provided with first night free evening meal voucher.
There are clearly 2 types of room styles, those that are more traditionally decorated, and then more modern contemporary style, which we were in, I believe these are the top (3rd) floor rooms. We had a modern room with a balcony that faced away from the pool. This was nice and quiet, but I don't believe that a pool facing one would be noisy as the whole hotel has a calm and tranquil feel about it. I believe this is largely due to the professionalism of the staff.
All staff, reception, catering, bar, cleaning and care takers are all polite and friendly. Our maid helped me with my pronunciation of local villages from trips, and allowed us to see the deluxe and honeymoon suites as we waited for our room to be finished - well worth an upgrade if you are considering it !!!
The pool is gorgeous, we spent hours in it. Cleaned every evening by a pool robot that we named 'Pete the pool cleaner' !!
We meandered into Dalyan most nights, but on the 2 occassions we chose to eat dinner on our hotel, it was very pleasant, excellent variety (just like breakfasts), and actually very reasonable when compared to most of the restaurants in Dalyan.
The area is very quiet and like others we really enjoyed the river walk into Dalyan, and normally it would bother me that we were not near the beach, it didn't, purely because the pool is lovely, sun beds and brollies make it a relaxing day - literally no reason to move.
We did however venture to the beach, and tried some local trips - Dalyan lake, including local market, mud baths and hot springs and 12 Islands tour. For the local river trips, we'd reccommend the public boat corp, but highly suggest a reputable tour provider for the full day excursions, such as Kounus Tours (they have their own website). They are alot more expensive than public boats, but max of 12 people on tour, and we'd heard rubbish stories from other guests about cheaper boat tours.
I normally wouldn't entertain returning to a resort or hotel as I'm a firm believer that there are too many places in the world to visit - but this holiday has prompted me to reconsider as I can't fault it!
Its rare that I would take the time to write a review, but Club Alla Turca is well deserving of this essay!!! Hope it helps........

well as the title says a peaceful retreat. Not near to the the beach(45 minutes by water taxi, 20 minutes by bus), next to the river and the turtles. The alla turca has a charm that you will love. I have said solo traveller but I did have a friend join me for a week of my 2 week holiday. But no problem on being a solo traveller, I was made to feel welcome from the minute I arrived. The reception is small and all the rooms are similar, I happened to get a double bedded room my friend a twin bedded room. They are ok, plain and unfussy. Air con, safe, good wardrobe space and small balcony. The bathroom a little small and lighting could have been better, but not a major thing. Beds were hard. I went on a half board basis, the food was of a high standard but after about 10 days a little on the same side, plenty of it saying that! Drinks at the bar and in the restaurant a little on the dear side. The pool area is really nice as are the gardens, you could sunbathe in either area. There is a childrens area but really only for young children, kids would be bored out of their trees at the alla turca, not really a place for them at all, not even the resort of Dalyan as there is nothing at all. It is a really peaceful place, a chill out zone. Plenty of trips to see and do if that floats your boat. Would I go back? yes I would, with or without a chum. A totally enjoyable 2 weeks. Recommended.

Me and my partner went to Club Alla Turca landing on the 7th May, and being as it was our 1st trip to Turkey, were blown away by our experience here at the hotel, so much so that we have set up an account on trip advisor just to write a review about the hotel!!

We don't really know were to start as we have read the other reviews and to be fair they are pretty spot on every time and it really is a hidden gem to be kept hidden! The atmosphere is amazing there and you always feel comfortable and relaxed around the whole hotel and the staff are really great!

The staff are literally 2nd to none and we have never been so cared for in a hotel in our life, even if we bought a bottle of water at dinner they would re-fill your glass once it was empty and normally you only get this service if you have bought the most expensive bottle of water, but they will help you regardless.

Someone special to mention has to be the pool bar man Ehran, who is quite simply the greatest guy and bar man we have ever encountered and definitely made us look forward to having a few drinks at the pool bar until late most nights and genuinely made a stay one to remember.

We have been on approx 9 holidays together in the last 3-4 years including America and this was easily the best hotel and complete holiday experience together we have ever encountered, and our original plan has always been to travel to as many different destinations as possible but since going too this resort, it has changed everything! We will certaintly be going back there and is simply amazing. The whole location is unique and something you just don't get from a normal Europe destination and you get every penny of your money's worth and it isn't even that expensive!!

In summary, recommend this hotel to anyone will definitely be going back again and was the best 1st experience of a country I think we will ever have!!
