This was our first time to Turkey so did not know what to expect. The Hotel Club Alla Turca has a fantastic location and views but a bit of a dark walk into town at night. The hotel did provide free transport in the morning to the town centre. The rooms were not to 4* standard more 3*, a bit dark in decor, no tea/coffee facilities but rooms were clean, tidy and staff were polite and friendly.
The grounds and communal areas were spotless. The restaurant had a good selection of different food. I would have rated this hotel higher but felt let down by the way they dealt with the stray mother cat and her kittens who lived on the premises.

A belated review for our 9th visit to this hotel, this time an 11 night stay in September 2012.

Like my 3 previous reviews we once again had a wonderful time with the family and staff that have become good friends over the years.

Our room still with free safe and A/C which again overlooked the pool with the mountains in the background (the photos of that view in the morning get me through the English winter) was once again kept immaculately clean by Birgul.

We stayed B&B again as we like to eat at some of the numerous restaurants in town and also eat later than the hotel restaurant dinner times but both the restaurant and snack bar serve excellent food. The breakfast includes freshly cooked fried eggs, omelettes, pancakes plus sausages, grilled toms, boiled and scrambled eggs. Then there is a wide selection of fruit, cerials, yoghurts, cold platters of cheese and meats and breads etc.

Thank you to the Yilmazer family and all the staff for another excellent holiday in Dalyan at the Club Alla Turca.

Can not wait to return.

luckily we had a room with a pool view, the staff are very helpfull. The pool is lovely with steps to walk down into it. Plenty of shade if you need to be in the shade as well as the sun. Breakfasts plentiful with hot pancakes or omlettes if required. Fresh fruit, yogurts etc. Walking distance into Dalyan as well as very handy near the river. Definately will be going back to this hotel. They also can arrange transport to the airport if required.

Room Tip: we just asked for a double room. we did not ask for a pool view but we were very lucky. There are al...

Simply outstanding. The choice of food at both breakfast and the evening meal was excellent. All food allergies etc were catered without fuss and with a clear understanding of need.
October weather was perfect. The location only a short (10 min) walk from Dalyan town along the river walk.
Rooms were good, clean and pleasant.
Staff were superb, always trying to go the extra mile to make the holiday better.
Excellent, large swimming pool.

If you're looking for a restful holiday in beautiful surroundings then look no further than Club Alla Turca. We've just spent a lovely week here-weather was perfect, and the hotel is well maintained and spotlessly clean. It has an attractive pool area with lots of shade and there is also a garden with shaded areas, fruit trees and a hammock. The rooms all have balconies and are air conditioned, which was still needed even in October-temperatures were around 35 degrees every day.Food was very good, with a varied menu in the evenings and a good selection at breakfast.Drinks were quite expensive-43 lira(around £15) for a bottle of wine.Metin on reception was really helpful and we arranged a couple fof trips through him which were cheaper than doing it through the tour operator. Moyra, the customer relations person was also really helpful. The lady who cleaned our room was also very obliging and brought us extra pillows and a blanket when we felt cold after the first night
It's about 15 minutes walk from the resort, and the best way to go is to walk along the river path.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor with a pool view. There are a couple of deluxe rooms which looked beautiful, Ou...

This was our first time to Turkey and to Dalyan - what a great place to stay. Club Alla Turca is situated around 2 minutes from the river and is an easy walk in to town.

We didn't accept the first room we were given - Room 203 - as it was on the ground floor at the back of the hotel overlooking a high concrete wall and all the satellite dishes for the hotel. We were then offered a bay window room overlooking the pool/mountains at a supplement of £70, which was a bit of a shock at first, but was worth it in the end. The pool and the hotel grounds are stunning and very well cared for, with plenty of quiet places to relax.

The staff are excellent - very friendly and all seem to thoroughly enjoy what they do, even though it was towards the end of the season, nothing was too much for them. The food on half board was excellent and there was something to suit everyone.

On the downside for the hotel - please replace the plastic chairs in the dining room - they are very uncomfortable and do not fit in the with rest of the hotel, which is traditional Turkish. Also relocate the air conditioning units on the balconies as they blow out warm air, which is very uncomfortable when trying to cool off on a hot day!

Dalyan itself is a lovely spot - the views are stunning and people are very friendly. It's quite easy to take the public boat from Dalyan centre to the beach, which is a lovely trip in itself and very cheap. In addition the local dolmus runs to the opposite end of the beach where the turtle sanctuary is and this also is a super trip which goes into the mountains before arriving at the beach.

For eating out at lunchtimes we went to Yeners Place on the main street - extremely comfortable and very friendly with super food. However our favourite spot was Sevgi Gozleme which is a wonderful bar by the river about 2 minutes from the hotel. We went every day and watched the fish and a family of ducks, together with Kingfishers, owls, Nile turtles, and all manner of wildlife in a wonderfully relaxing environment - what a lovely spot. They do super light meals and drinks at a very reasonable price.

All in all, we had a fabulous holiday and will most certainly be back.

Its often said that people make the place and the Alla turca is no exxception. Moyra the English liaison is an absolute darling and helped us with our little dramas.

The pool is clean, as is the rest of the place and the cleaners try so hard to please.

Beware of the Mosquito's however as they are viscious. My wife needed the doctor after two days after a huge reaction. being so close ot the river you will need to take all precautions if you are susceptible.

Loads of decent eateries around - the staff can be a pain trying to get you in. Try the ones at the far end of town opposite the rock caves - the views are exceptional.

For the price you pay, this place is well worth the money.

Drinks a bit pricey - plenty of local shops to smuggle stuff in from for the fridge.

Dont bother with lunch at the hotel - go the the gorgeous little riverside eatery just 50 yards away from the hotel instead.

Room Tip: Dont pick a top floor room - the roof keeps them uncomfortably warm in the summer
