Very nice hotel in a good location by the river opposite the rock tombs
Big spotless rooms all overlooking the beautiful garden
Food good but a bit repetitive and vegetarians were not well catered for
Had a row with the manager as he did not like us buying water outside, he sells it at 4 X the price
Free boat trips across the river to Caunos and downriver to Turtle Beach were worth it

Stayed during half term week. Had a lovely room next to the pool. Setting beautiful - next to the river. Made use of the tennis court which was free if you had your own equipment. Food was lovely and varied and it was lovely to sit by the river and watch the boats go by on the way to the beach. Do go on the free boat trip organised by the hotel every other day to the beach, its a good way to meet other guests. We walked into town most evenings which was a pleasant ten minute walk. Loved the market in Dalyan and found some bargains, be prepared to haggle! The drinks were quite expensive and you sign for what you have but do check your bill as found on checking out we had three rounds on our bill that were not ours - this was sorted out though. No evening entertainment which was a shame. A turkish night would have been nice.

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground floor have a terrace which was nice to be able to sit out in the evening and hav...

Went to this hotel with 10 other friends for a week and we loved it. The hotel, grounds, and area are fantastic. There are lots of lovely excursions nearby.
The staff go out of their way to help.
Food is excellent although occasionally there is a shortage of true vegetarian dishes.
One of our group was reprimanded over bringing in water one day so be careful about this
Please note that the distance to town is much more than 500 metres so it could present difficulties to less mobile people.
Spa was not functioning

We happened on this hotel after booking flights on Easyjet and using their extension. We only stayed one night as a convenient buffer before our yacht charter starting on a Saturday, but it was in a delightful setting and a reasonable price. Half board, we enjoyed excellent food in a garden setting. Reception was easy and helpful, and apart from one room not having air-conditioning, everything was pretty well perfect. I would like to come back for longer. There are places to sit by the river opposite the rock tombs to watch boats going by or the sun setting.

I was in real need of a de-stressing break, and so pleased to have picked the Dalyan Resort. This is my forth time in Dalyan, but first at Dalyan Resort. The rooms okay, but not outstanding, the real attraction is the amazing setting. The gardens lead right down to the river, there are three jettys lovely to sit to sit with drink. Such a peaceful place. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, as is the pool. All the staff are lovely, especially Erkan, who does a fantasic job of making sure everyone is happy and Ali, who is always cheerful, takes great pride in his work and makes sure things run smoothly.
The food was mainly buffet, which was very good. I upgraded on arrival to a suite, which was worth it for extra space, and really good shower. If you are looking for 5 star luxury, then try somewhere else, but for a week or so of relaxation in lovely unpretentious settings then you can't go wrong here.

Room Tip: Upgrade to suite for bit of extra space.

Stayed at this hotel 5 times in the past 6 years. We just love it. Staff are wonderful. Really surprised at previous review - but have never stayed in Dalyan in March when most of the resort must be closed. Don't want to say too much as would like to keep this hotel a secret - it is so peaceful and ticks all the boxes as far as my husband and I are concerned. It truly is our piece of paradise.

We only stayed 1 night in March, which is the off-season. We were the only ones in the hotel. Ali is the best part of the hotel since he is so helpful. He rowed us across to Kaunos and helped us with our luggage.
We have stayed in better 2 star hotels and this one is supposed to be a 4 or 5 star. The hotel rooms are dated with very limited hot water, poor internet access and terrible beds. The complimentary breakfast was not good at all and we did not even try to eat dinner at the hotel. It would be better to find a different place to stay from the many choices in Dalyan. Definitely give this supposed luxury resort a pass.

Ful, Genel Müdür at Dalyan Resort, responded to this reviewResponded August 10, 2014

Dear Guest,
I am so sorry you have such a bad experience. In winter time, the hotel serves only Bed and Breakfast. We inform guests about it. When guests want to have dinner, the Chef prepares whatever they want to have. Some of the rooms of the hotel are arranged for winter condition. The hot water is supplied 50 lt. with an electrical heater. If we heat the big tank of the hotel, we cannot accommodate anyone because of the energy cost. The beds of the hotel has been all renewed in 2012 and we did not have any complaints about the beds up to now. Generally business people who are in the area stay with us during winter. These hotels are constructed for summer operation. I wish you could visit us in summer time. Dalyan Resort Spa, the new hotel we constructed is designed for winter holidays as well. If there is a next time, we will be happy to accommodate you. Fulya Okutur General Manager/Owner
