3rd visit to Dalyan but first to Binlik. Perfect location, short walk into town/ river. Well equipped, fresh, clean rooms with air con and fridge/ mini bar/ good shower/ mirrors/ wardrobe space etc. Professional hard working staff( although bar staff could be a bit more smiley!) Surprised this is only a 2 star rated hotel. Breakfasts better than expected and certainly worth getting up for. Grounds immaculate. The bar manager, Kadri ,an absolute asset- so charming and helpful. Thanks for the memories. Sally and Kevin xx

This was our first visit to the Binlik which we were recommended to. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by everybody especially Kadri the manager who could not do enough for us. He gave us advice on trips and good restaurants and and generally made sure we had a wonderful time. The breakfasts were good with a wide choice. Two nice pools and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas to go around. The hotel is in an excellent location only 5 minutes from shops, restaurants and the river for boat trips. Our room was in Block C which was lovely and very comfortable. It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were there, and somehow they got to know and on the day our room was decorated and there was a basket of fruit and bottle of wine. An unexpected and lovely touch which we greatly appreciated. We are already planning a return visit later in the year.

Room Tip: Our room was in block C which overlooked the pool and mountains

lets face it i am from yorkshire so i am hard to please. we traveled on a night flight to turkey which was a nightmare. luckily we were only 25mins away from dalaman airport so tranfer to the binlik hotel in dalyan was short and sweet. taken to our room by a very helpfull porter but we could not get in to room 304 so had to wait to get a key for room 305. entered room first surprise family room was large and bright basic fixtures but enough room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers very clean. awoke four hours later and stepted out on to balcony second suprise the view of the rest of the hotel , pool and bar was great. third suprise breakfast ceareals, eggs, fruit, cheeses, hams, salads, breads, pancakes, and omlettes cooked to order.spent first morning around pool relaxing was approached by manager Kadra who greeted us and told us all about how the hotel ran was very helpful and as the week went on became a asset to the hotel and could not do enough for you and had a great repore with our 2 teenage boys.we were told alot about how it will be in turkey but found all the negatives to be untrue, dalyan is a great town where everyone is helpful and pleased to meet you (yes they do ask you to enter their shops and resturents but if you politley say no they give you no hassle and let you go on your way) ate in the hotel for dinner or evening meal always from the turkish menu. food was allways great. as was when we ate in the town where they could not do enough for you. fourth suprise cost of eating in dalyan is very cheap and very large portions ( for four people eating 3 courses with drinks was 130 tl ).all staff at the binlik hotel greet you with a smile and a genuin williness to help you. the hotel is just the right size where you can get a sunbed to use all day. the pool is great and is very clean and was used every day by our selfs.big thanks to kadra and his team for a great week we will be returing next year ..

Room Tip: family rooms for space and good view of the pool

We stayed here for 1 week at the end of may, great little hotel very quiet while we were there which suited us fine, plenty of sun beds , although not sure if it would be the same in high season. all the staff friendly and the place is spotless, stayed on bed and breakfast basis , usual Turkish breakfast with fresh eggs , pancakes and omelets cooked while you wait, we did eat lunch at the hotel which was very reasonable , only 5 minutes walk into town where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, hotel seems more suited to couples looking for a quiet holiday, no one hassling you to join in the usual hotel games , already booked for next year which says a lot as have never gone to the same place again, if you want a quiet restful break this is the place to go

We have just come back from 2 weeks at the Binlik. This was our first time at this hotel .and it certainly won't be the last. The staff are the real stars of this hotel, they make you feel so welcome and at ease, especially Kadri the manager. The maids and reception staff were all so friendly and helpful. We did have a problem with our room and they swapped us to another without a problem. Breakfasts were lovely, so much choice and so nicely presented. The pools and surrounding areas were always kept clean. We had dinner twice at the hotel and it was lovely - a good choice and well presented. We did feel pampered at this hotel, although it is not 5 star, and we now have to go on a diet.....Thankyou to all the staff for making our holiday so pleasurable.

We stayed at the Binlik Hotel for the second year running. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the centre and was a pleasant place to be.

The staff: we just adored the cleaning staff, especially the person who looked after our room – she was so warm and friendly despite working all hours. The bar staff were the same as last year and really helpful and hardworking. The hotel has a new manager – Kadri. Very personable and keen on promoting events, trips, food offers etc.

Room: we stayed in B Blok and asked to move to a pool view room, which was no bother at all. Our room was larger than last year. It was clean with great storage, TV, and a large balcony. Air-conditioner was built into the price & therefore only operated at set times: but these times were fine for us. Yet again, the mini-bar/fridge did not stay cool enough. On our last day our flight was at 1am the following day. Last year, we were able to stay in our room without charge (which was an unexpected bonus). This year, we asked to pay for an extra 10 hours to access our room or another room and were told the charge was 70tl. We were offered a shower room for free, or a room for 5 hours (12-5pm) for 50tl. I was quite surprised by the cost and confused as we paid approx 50tl per evening for 11 days and that included breakfast too. So I felt quite sad about this and it impacted on how I felt about the hotel overall. It is possible that this is standard practice, I've just never experienced it before.

Pool area: There are two pools onsite & a small paddling pool. Not as many free sunbeds and umbrellas as last year as the hotel was rather busy. The people staying at the hotel were mostly older or young couples and mostly British: quite a change from last year, when the guests were mostly German. Multitude of insects (including super massive WASPS!!!) because of the beautifully tended garden & grounds. The pool area is in a lovely setting.

Food, drink & breakfast at Binlik: An even larger choice of food at breakfast than last year, including: fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, cake, jams, honey, salad, ham, cheese etc: the full Turkish breakfast experience in a buffet setting. You could also have cooked eggs: scrambled, boiled, omelette, pancakes. Coffee machine installed this time around, so an improvement on last year. I think their breakfasts are excellent.

Bar area: We often had coffee and cold drinks at the bar by the pool during the day. The coffee from the bar was superb: freshly ground every time. We ate at the hotel on two evenings & the food was fine. Payment for bar food & drink was made by a swipe card: no cash. But you received a receipt each time so it was easy to put money aside to pay at the end of the week or even every day, if you wanted to. Lots of promotions at the bar re food, drink offers and promoting the football etc.

Animals: Far fewer cats this year, which was a shame for me. A couple of persistent ones would hover at breakfast but they were no bother at all. Early morning and early evening saw the arrival of geese and turkeys and roosters and hens: just walking around, chasing each other and generally being entertaining! I loved seeing them.

I enjoyed The Binlik very much, but I felt a sense that it was less special than last year for me personally. I liked the fact that it was an undiscovered gem which felt very Turkish to me. Now, it felt much more targeted to British holiday makers – which I understand and is not a criticism, I just preferred it when it was less so.I think it is good value for money overall and I would recommend to others.

We stayed here early july 11 and loved it. Very reasonably priced and while we didn't spend too much time at the hotel found it the perfect base. We had breakfast every day and were impressed with the quality and freshness of food. the room was basic but fine, nicely decorated with a good sized terrace and tv. There was a minibar fridge but it was broken and all the drinks were warm! Dalyan itself is gorgeous, we got the dolmus to the beach almost every day and it is beautiful. Also enjoyed a couple of boat trips which were good value, with great service and good food, and plenty of space to relax. I loved it in Dalyan and will def be back!
