Just returned from 9 nights at the Dalyan Doga and am 100% confident to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a small and friendly type accomodation. Lovely pool area and although not always enough sunbeds for everyone, you only need to ask Ilksen or her staff and they will bring out extra beds or large cushions for you. The rooms, along with all areas, were spotlessly clean. Not a huge amount of wardrobe space, but certainly manageable. Turkish breakfast served outside and cooked by Ilksen's lovely mother, including different food items and fresh fruit each morning. They also serve simple lunches and there is a bar area which stays open until about midnight. Perfect location, just 5 minutes from town but nice and quiet. The staff organised a pyjama party on our last night which was great fun. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a small family run business that genuinely cares about their guests. We arrived early and were keen to leave our bags somewhere...the room was ready so they allowed us entry. They provided advise on tours, restaurants etc and the breakfast..although typically Turkish, was very tasty..including cereal. there was no Refrig in the rooms ..this appears to be the norm in these hotels, and the bed was not the most comfortable. The ladies did our washing and drying..for a small charge which was appreciated. We would have been happy to stay longer, as it had such a nice feel to the place. Also a nice outdoor pool and bar area with plenty of chairs, tables, lounges etc.

Just back from our lovely one week stay at the Doga Hotel .
The staff were so kind and considerate, rooms spotless and cleaned daily.
Breakfast was a lovely treat each morning and not rushed.
Location perfect,so close to all the lovely amenities Dalyan has to offer, but at the same time no noise which was great for a good nights sleep.
We enjoyed tasting the homemade lemonade so much that my husband asked for the recipe, and was delighted when he was invited into the kitchen to see first hand how it was made.
We have already recommended this amazing special hotel to our friends, and cannot thank the staff at the hotel enough for helping to make this visit such a delight.
Looking forward to returning later on in the year.

Room Tip: Room 207 was our triple room which we enjoyed

Lovely warm, welcoming atmosphere in this small family hotel. Rooms were lovely and clean, compact and colourful and breakfast which you could enjoy sitting near the pool was delicious, The staff were very friendly and helpful and happy to accommodate any needs. There were lots of comfy cushions to lounge on near the pool or sunchairs. A quiet haven where you could relax and have a holiday with no hassle. The best hotel I've stayed in which was really home from home.

Room Tip: The setting is so quiet that I cant imagine any room would be a disappointment.

We are just rounding off a very enjoyable week at the Doga Hotel, Dalyan. One of the nicest aspects of the holiday was the warm and attentive service we received at the Doga. It is very much a family-run establishment, and with just 15 rooms feels like a home from home. The hotel is very close to the centre of Dalyan (which in itself is not a vey large town), yet it feels quite private as the compact site features pleasant patio and relaxation areas. There are plenty of plants and flowers, and from the pool area and many of the rooms you get a splendid view of the mountains.

Breakfast is taken around the pool and always features a homemade treat each morning. There is a sense that the owners do this as a labour of love, and the simple but stylish rooms are spotlessly clean - just like the rest of the hotel. The interior lounge area is small, but this did not seem to matter as there is a lovely chill out area near to the swimming pool, under some trees.

The pool itself is heated naturally (for some guests this may take a little getting used to) and there is an unobtrusive emphasis of renewable resources. For example, water is served at breakfast from a large jug, rather than plastic bottles.

Not being a dog-lover, I was slightly concerned to hear there is a resident dog. However, I have found him to be the most placid creature imaginable and quite a pleasant asset to the ambience of the place.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the Doga Hotel to anyone wanting a simple homely holiday retreat. If you want sophisticated elegance, perhaps try the BC Spa Hotel down the road. But if you fancy a restful and unpretentious week or two, the Doga is for you.

I have stayed in many places over the years from hostels to five star hotels and the Dalyan Doga Hotel is my favourite of all of them and I plan to go back again and again!

I have stayed here twice now and really Ilksen and her family cannot do enough to make you feel welcome. They will be there for you and answer any questions you have or help you to make arrangements, or they will leave you to go about your day as you wish with a friendly wave and a smile.

This is a small hotel, only 15 or 16 rooms and they don't cater for children under 14 so it is always quiet and peaceful. The gardens are stunning and really well looked after; so pretty. The pool is the perfect size and when I visited in August there was always a sunlounger free. Breakfast is a Turkish affair, fruit, bread, turkish tea etc. and it is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed it, it is spotless!

The rooms are amazing this season, Ilksen and her family have spent the winter refurbishing all of the bathrooms and they are soooo nice, beautiful tiling, amazing water pressure, hot water, vanity shelf, mirror and vintage lamp, beautifully done. Please don't complain about the fact there is no shower curtain, they just don't use them in Turkey, the wet room is the norm and it certainly didn't bother me.

If you stay in Dalyan, stay at the Doga Hotel; fab location, amazing staff, great value for money, my favourite hotel!
