Bulent and Semma have two places where you can eat the best Donner in Dalyan. Their restaurants are situated on the market square, First one (nearest restaurant to the Mosk and next to Caretta Pizza) is run by Semma. Normally her son Mahir is helping her. In Summertime also Ezgy is helping..
Bulent himself is serving his food in his restaurant which is two doors away. Also next to Caretta, but on the other side.
These are our favourite restaurants for a quick bite. Never ate better Donner then here. You can normally choose between meat (lamb) or chicken. Both choices are delicious. We always spice it up a little bit extra with chili. Offcorse they have also other meals on the menu (Kofte, sandwiches, tosti's, different kinds of kebab)
You can eat the meat rolled in a flatbread, between normal bread, as a plate with chips (very good chips!) tomato salad etc.
Most customers are locals, and I can tell you why!
Prices are low. A flatbread chicken was only 4 TL, meat was 6 TL. The other meals on the menu are also very reasonable priced.
I also have to mention the orange juice, I don't know how they manage but this is always a very good tasting juice. When we are there Mahir always says " you want a sinasappelsap" (dutch for orange juice).
This is such a nice and friendly family and they serve these meals with so much care.
Try it once and you will be hooked! First stop every year after ariving late
