I don't understand why this is ranked 90 out of 124, in my opinion it was one of the better meals I had in Dalyan. The setting by the river is lovely, and the sea life is very clear to see from the jetty. The staff are lovely, very friendly and happy to advise on different dishes.
Lavash / puffy bread and spiced garlic butter were provided as a starter free of charge. Despite the broad scope of the menu, usually I would go for a Turkish dish, as often restaurants are good at what they know. However, I was sold on the description of the fajitas - chicken and vegetables with spices, herbs, cognac and white wine. The meal came on a wooden board with a metal hot plate containing the main ingredients. It was accompanied by a hot tomato salsa, cool yoghurt dressing, quarter tortillas and what seem to be the standard sides of vegetables, rice and chips. If I had a complaint it would be that the chicken was a little oily for me - but I appreciate this is how fajitas are often served. My companion ordered a Turkish lamb dish, which came on a hot plate. She agreed that it was one of the better meals of the holiday, and the standard of food in Dalyan is generally very high to begin with. Pricing was fairly standard 25-30 TL for main course and around 30 TL for a bottle of wine.
The downside to being so close to the river is that the food not on a hot plate - typically the accompaniments - goes cold very quickly. Otherwise, couldn't fault it. I would ideally score a 4.5 out of 5, but that's not an option - so a 4 it is, but a very strong 4. I would definitely choose to eat here again.
