The Iz Cafe may be tricky to find but it is worth seeking out. Far from the commercialism of some areas in Dalyan, this hidden gem offers a charming and unspoilt side to the town.
The cafe has seating outside, and inside the building itself houses a gallery packed with works of art by Turkish artisans and painters. The cafe serves up a good range of snacks and cakes, all of which looked superb. (I had the strawberry muffin with ice-cream.) The impression is one of homemade, lovingly prepared food combined with a cosy and characterful ambience.
