Discovered this lovely family run restaurant/pancake house thanks to a recommendation from a fellow hotel guest. It was so good we visited twice!
My banana and honey pancake with ice cream was delicious as was my daughters. We tried savoury on our second visit and they were equally as good. The rustic furniture and surroundings add to the charm, along with the family's gorgeous rare breed white kittens.
The atmosphere is quite unique, as you feel as if you're part of the extended family and that you're sitting in their lovely back garden and sharing their home. Hard to describe but we loved that aspect of it, a far cry from the usual touristy places.
If you don't like cats or listening to the cockerel crowing and the hens laying whilst eating simply lovely, inexpensive food, then this place isn't for you. But if like us you wish to sample a taste of traditional Turkish life, good food and lovely people then please take time out to try this simply lovely place.
Oh, one more thing, it's a garden setting so yes there may be a bug or two flying about or an occasional ant, it's Turkey after all Just enjoy the experience.
