Charming unusual restaurant in that you walk through living and cooking area to get through to rear of restaurant in the garden. Four generations walking around including the young children of the family.
We visited as a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids). We went for pancakes. My wife and the kids had sweet (lemon/sugar, chocolate/ice-cream etc) which were delicious.
I had chips and cheese and mushroom pancake. Chips were hand cut, hand cooked fresh. Would be slightly better if cooked, cooled and then put back in (to make crispy) and also drained on kitchen towel but they were still very nice. The pancake was nice although the cheese used is a local sour cheese which wasn't particularly to my taste. I would prefer a melted cheddar style (or similar local) so would suggest to owners that they offer this to visitors who may not be familiar with the sour cheese.
Lovely surroundings and would definitely recommend a visit. The family also seem charming.
