A wonderfully friendly, relaxing and totally Turkish eatery. A hidden garden at the rear is masked by the roadside front but don't be put off by that. Food was absolutely delicious, only 3 dishes to choose from as it's what they are cooking that day, although there is the scrumptious pancakes to have if you don't fancy the mains. Don't miss it!

Very relaxed atmosphere. Great meal. No male testosterone trying to get you into it. A must for anyone who loves food in a relaxed atmosphere!!!

We came here for lunch and the menu is too small really, only offering savoury and sweet pancakes. The chicken wrap was ok, the waitress seemed abit moody. Although we all finished our meal and had a nice drink and tipped generously because the family seemed genuine! We will come again and try the evening meal next time.

We had lunch twice here, a lovely quiet and friendly place. The sweet and savoury pancakes are equally delicious and very good value. We were joined by two very young white kittens in the comfortable and homely back garden.
To get there go to the lake end of the harbour and walk up the street instead of continuing along the river. The Altin Tava is on the left about 5 mins walk, easily identified by the beautiful climbing flowers outside.

Only managed 1 visit to Altin Tava this year but as ever it didn't disappoint. We had courgette fritters, followed by chicken and sea bass, with a bottle of wine, some water - and the bill came to 61 TL - a bargain.
The family are as charming and genuine as ever. See you next year for more than one visit.
