Me and my girlfriend stayed here in JULY 2011, but I only joined TripAdvisor earlier this year and I'm doing this as a retrospective.

Service: fantastic, fun, friendly.
Rooms: lovely, comfortable, very clean and obviously cared for.
Pool: great for relaxing swims.
Location: Stunning. Set on the quiet and idyllic riverbank, great views of the spectacular scenery, 10 minutes away from the main bustle of Dalyan but that makes a huge difference. Dalyan itself is a gem in Turkey.
Food: Everything we tried was great, and look out for the salt-baked sea bass!

I'd recommend this for just about anyone, couples, small groups of friends or solo travellers, but it may not be the best place in Dalyan for families with young children. Everyone else though...

Sorry this is short, but look - 63 out of the 65 reviews (at the time I write this) are 4 or 5 stars, and two thirds give it all 5. That speaks for itself. Visit when the weather is likely to be good and you won't be disappointed. We went in July 2011 and we'll definitely be back at some point.

Where do I start! Just returned from a 2 week holiday and will book again for next year. So pleased we found this gem of a hotel.
Staff-Hayder the barman worked so hard. He is such a kind and thoughtful man, nothing was too much trouble for him. Thomas, Nuri and all the kitchen staff were also very friendly and helpful.
I was nervous about taking my 4 month old son but everyone was very helpful and all the staff would always stop for a cuddle and chat with him.
Looking forward to see you all next September with a much more active little boy. Hayder, you promised to babysit! Mert- same rooms next year please!

Hello to all the family and staff at Hotel Calypso plus! We have just returned from a week away and had an amazing week relaxing in Dalyan, now a strong contender for my favourite place on Earth award thanks to it being an area of outstanding natural beauty in landscape, food, people and culture.

Thank you for the most amazing holiday, we will be highly recommending the hotel and area to family and friends. We had a great time and we are very grateful to everyone there for making it so unforgettable.

We were warmly welcomed all week by the family and staff and being able to rest and recuperate around the riverside, the bar, or the stunning jetty a stone's throw away from the restaurant, bar and pool area, was the perfect base for everything we wanted for our holiday. Everything was clean, stylish, well designed and well maintained at the Hotel.

We meandered around the hotel, town and harbour and took several boat trips around the watery mountainous area between Köyceğiz market, Lake Köyceğiz, down the Dalyan river to İztuzu Beach (which is a world site for Caretta turtles who nest on the smooth sandy shore to lay their eggs at around midsummer. I dont know precisely as Im not a scientist, probably a good idea if you check that with a turtle expert or summink init.). Aside from the turtles, there is an abundance of other incredible wildlife to view, as the river is clean and fresh, and the land is lush and fertile.
