I love this place!!!! This was my third trip to the Riverside and it really is 'a little piece of heaven on earth'. The location is perfect, the staff are wonderful and it is as near perfection as one could wish for.
Ok, it's not five star luxury, but the rooms are exactly what is required. Clean, comfortable and fine for sleeping in. The breakfast is great, just tuck in to what you fancy from the Turkish buffet. The pool is excellent though I personally prefer to go to Iztuzu beach as I love the sea breeze.
The staff work SOOOO hard to ensure that guests are looked after - brilliant.

Basic hotel, clean, with excellent air conditioning. Hotel staff all fantastic. Hotel is set in a wonderful location, right on the river, hence the name. All rooms have air conditioning and safes, but you pay extra for these. Single storey, rooms like mini bungalows with verandas, overlooking lovely gardens. Pool is great, although I think there is now too much shade. Sometimes not possible to get sun beds in the sun! 2nd visit and will definitely return again.

Room Tip: Ask for one away from the pool and kitchen if you want a quiet room.

This small but beatiful run hotel is probably the best hotel experience I have had the pleasure of staying at. A big thanks to Alp, Omur, Gunay, Tanner, Alper, Mhemet Ozzie and all the kitchen staff for making our two week stay a simply fantastic family experience. The pool was like a warm bath and stunning in the evenings by the bar. The basic rooms are more than adequate but then you are only sleeping there. I have never felt so relaxed on holiday and will be visiting again with out doubt as soon as is possible. All the staff are freindly and called us by our first names the whole two weeks.
A hidden gem. You could have been anywhere in the world. Simply Paradise. Vince H

Room Tip: It doesnt matter what rooms you choose they are all well located.

You wont regret staying here. Excellent location on the riverside, with a decking area on the river, which you can sit and feed the fish and turtles that pop up at breakfast and evening meal times and only a 10 minuet walk from Dalyan center along the river. :-) Set in lush gardens with banana and mini orange trees, figs and grapes at your fingertips, Mmmmm, you wont regret staying here. The staff were fab. Special mention to Alp, Omer, Mehmet, Gunay and Albere who looked after us like old friends. We stayed half board and enjoyed all our meals and they accommodated my daughter on the one occasion she didn't fancy the set menu with a traditional 'Greek pizza' -cooked in the clay oven. Will definitely be going back, taking the rest of the grown up family with us!

I have just returned from another lovely two week stay at this hotel. It never fails to charm. Stunning location and lovely easy walk along river to the 'village'. Lovely pool. Rooms basic but only slept in it so who needs more? I travelled with a singles group. Many return year after year and also lovely to see independent travellers who do likewise. Staff at the hotel are brilliant. The food again met my needs as a vegetarian. Tasty, although the sweets could be a bit more imaginative - melon gets a bit boring.
Riverside is the perfect place for a lazy, chilled out experience with access by dolmus to one of the top beaches in the world (Itzuzu beach). I even had e pleasure of witnessing the televised release of turtles into the sea from the turtle hospital one morning.
All in all a wonderful holiday. I will be there again in future years.

The Riverside Hotel feels like a bit of a secret. Just ten minutes walk along the river from the centre of Dalyan, you very quickly fall in love with its slightly quirky charm.

The rooms are nothing to write home about - basic and small - but why would you want to spend any time in them with beautiful grounds of banana palms, pomegranate trees, grapevines and all wonderfully laid out? Then the lovely pool with nice bar and plenty of loungers, with great 'don't reserve your lounger reminders'.

You can eat in part of the restaurant built out on the side of the river and relax with the chug of the boats going past or just stare at the green flowing river or the imposing cliffs opposite. The food in the restaurant is a delight - fresh, local, cheap and cooked with care.

To crown it all, the staff are genuinely nice, happy and welcoming.

The Riverside may not be 5* but it makes you feel 5* relaxed.

We have visited Dalyan before and stayed at a more expensive hotel nearby. The Riverside was good value for money - the rooms are (very) basic but you soon realise that the quality of the pool area and the lovely riverside Jetty make this a really worthwhile place to stay in Dalyan. Located away from the centre of things but within a 15 min walk either along the river or the road. The Cicek restaurant (located opposite Metin hotel) was the best place we found for great quality, authentic Turkish food, if you are someone who likes to try something other than burgers and chips on holiday!

Room Tip: Rooms away from the pool and the buffet area.
