Our stay at Filiz apartments this year was the best family holiday we have ever had. There were 14 of us and we hired all 6 appartments. It was roomy, spotlessly clean, the pool was large and the bar/eating area was inviting.
Filiz and her mother made us very welcome and they cooked a terrfici BBQ one night and the food was out of this world - Hmmmm. I could eat it again !!! Nothing was too much trouble and they had a wonderful sense of humour.
Dalyan is a brilliant place to visit, my husband and I went last year and the town is friendly and the area is of unspoilt beauty beside a river. A nature lovers paradise. Not commercial, but the kids loved it, there was plenty to do.
We recommend the mud bath trip and crabbing, & the 12 Island tour. Best restaurants were, Four Seasons, The Hidden Garden, Tommy Cooker (side street) for Pancakes, Kordon restaurant (Filiz father owns this) - BUT - do not go to China Town cos it is not Chinese (yuk) and it is very expensive. The Saturday market is great, but you must haggle. Also, if there is a group of more than 8, we recommend you hire your own boat as it works out cheaper. You need to agree a price before you set off.

We (my husband, our 3 year old and our baby) stayed at the Filiz Apart for 2 weeks last summer. We had a wonderful time, Filiz and her mother could not do enough for us, they make a wonderful Turkish breakfast and often cooked our evening meal at short notice when the babies decided they needed to go to bed all of a sudden! They also helped us keep an eye on the kids poolside and my son now wants to marry Filiz when he is old enough!
The apartments themselves are adequately furnished with lovely sunny balconys. The pool is large and immaculately clean. It is about a 10 min walk to the centre of the resort. Filiz and her mother will answer all the questions you have about the locality and make you feel like family. I highly recommend this accommodation.
To cap it all, they have a bar, so you can put the kids to bed and enjoy a little "grown up" time
