“Kosk”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Good food yes, but the lack of hassle and warm,, friendly welcome is what keeps this place popular. It's great for a light lunch as well as for a big evening meal. It is one of the few restaurants you can walk past and still be greeted with a friendly wave rather than the usual ambush.

“Great family run restaurant”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Always make a point of eating here as food is great, well priced and good hospitality. Owner always seems pleased to help, without slavering over you which I personally can't stand when I'm out for a meal. There's no grabbing people off the street as the food and service speaks for itself and people return over and over. A nice position at the top end of the main street, past the noisy bar bit but with enough passing pedestrians for people watching. Plenty of turkish dishes to try.

“Probably the best restaurant in Dalyan!”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

Have just eaten at Kosk for the third time this holiday. As always the food and service were impeccable. You are greeted sincerely by the owner as you approach, no pushy sales patter - mainly because you are lucky to get a table even this late in the season!
The fish especially is always wonderful as are the stir fries which are flavoured in a way which has you guessing as to how they have been seasoned. Add to this the complimentary bread, a proper rustic loaf, dill butter, cheese and dips and you should get a picture of the quality on offer here.
Tonight's visit was made during a thunderstorm of biblical proportions, most other restaurants were empty apart from the excellent Saki. Kosk was packed! The owner turned no one away and made every effort to accommodate everyone whilst upsetting no one. In all a brilliant three course meal with wine, water and additional drinks for 90 tl!
Finally beware negative reviews as I've never heard anyone criticise Kosk in all the time I've been coming to dalyan!
