What a wonderful place! I cannot praise the standard of hospitality at this hotel enough. The hardest decision we had to make each day was whether to sit by the pool or the river on the jetty. The staff were polite, friendly and trustworthy. The rooms were spotless with towels being changed daily and the bed linen alternate days. There was always hot water for a shower - which was invigorating, unlike some little trickles that I have experienced in previous hotels. The air conditioning, safe and fridge were included in the cost which is a great saving. The food on offer was more than suitable considering there are so many restaurants within a 10 minute walk. It was such a nice touch to have the option of pancakes, omelettes or fried eggs cooked to order at no extra cost during the breakfast times. The Wednesday night BBQ on the jetty was an excellent opportunity to discover a mixture of turkish cuisine and a most enjoyable evening. The pool area was always clean and tidy and the pool itself was lets say of a 'suitable' temperature. There were more than enough sunbeds coupled with the hammocks and swinging chairs spread through the glorious gardens down to the jetty. The gardens were a picture of hibiscus in full flower and the various fruit trees mixed in with the palms.

We experienced a couple of power cuts while we were there due to some thunderstorms in the evening. The hotel has a generator which kicked in with a back up supply immediately so there was no interruption in power.

We travelled with Thomas Cook and our Rep Hussain was fantastically attentive - I have never seen a rep so often without having to go hunting for them. His knowledge of the local area was second to none and invaluable. (Please don't send him to Marmaris - Dalyan needs him to stay!)

Thanks to all the staff at the Asur for making our holiday so enjoyable. We shall be back without a doubt!

We have just returned from our second trip to Dalyan but our first to the Asur, and we wasnt dissapointed. The rooms are rustic and spotlessly clean ( as is the whole hotel ), fresh linen and towels every day, and there are fresh pool towels every day aswell ! bonus !. The staff are great and helpful and our rep was the best we have met yet. Breakfast was buffet syle or you could have omlette or pancacks, just ask the chef. The two lovely stray dogs that have been adopted are an asset to the place, not pushy or bothersome just friendly and happy for a bit of affection and maybe a scrap of food.
The jetty on the river is a fantastic place to sit and watch the world go by, rocking chairs, sunbeds, beanbags or a patio chair just take you pick.
The walk into town is a nice 10mins stroll and to the nearest supermarket is the same. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from to stop and have an efes (beer) and maybe do a bit of shopping. We will be returning.

stayed here last year and yet again not dissapointed in the Asur spent lazy days by the river watching my husband fish with our friends we made at the hotel last year it was like coming back home and meeting up with everyone. Perfect for us and a stroll into town for our evening meals came back and sat on the jetty in the hotel and watch the stars . Perfect.

We too have just returned from two gorgeous weeks at this Hotel on our second trip to Dalyan but first to the Assur. We were delighted with all aspects of our stay, the room is charming, everything included to make your stay enjoyable, free extras excellent - tea/coffee refreshed daily, fridge, tv, air com, and wi-fi in room, and all kept spotlessly clean by the extremely hard working and lovely lady Jenna, who I can not praise highly enough. The pool is gorgeous plenty of beds and supply of fresh beach towels cutting down the need to bring which was welcome on the meagre Thomas Cook weight allowance. The garden is a haven of peace with its shade and hammocks for a perfect snooze and then the jetty to watch a guest fishing and seeing the little cat sitting hopefully waiting for any fish caught to feed her gorgeous kittens. The free 3 times a week boat trip to the beach was also a great addition. We were charmed by the two little stray dogs who never gave unwelcome attention but always grateful if any scrap was left for them. They seem to sense the animal loving people and certainly never intruded where they were not wanted. There is an animal charity in Dalyan which can be contacted in the market square, who we visited and we were very impressed with the work they are doing to try ensure the welfare of the animals especially of concern during the winter months when Dalyan is quiet and food from visitors ceases. We will certainly return to the Assur which lived up to the many excellent reviews previously posted and believe every effort is made to ensure guests have the perfect stay. The Thomas Cook rep was informative, very helpful and the best we have encountered with any tour operator. However the Thomas Cook flights were extremely uncomfortable the leg room now ridiculously cut to make flights of four plus hours very unpleasant and we will certainly be looking for an alternative carrier.

Well done and thank you to the Assur for a perfect stay, Dalyan is a lovely destination for a relaxing interesting holiday. We would also strongly recommend the Dalyan Iz for delightful light lunches, delicious cakes served by a charming couple in a shaded garden, superb. Delicious cappuccino in the new Yummy Cafe always an enjoyable visit. The Dalyan animal charity to ensure the welfare of the local strays.

Absolutely wonderful place. Relaxing and restful. We are a couple in late 30's and whilst most were older clientele it made for a totally peaceful holiday. Rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels. Breakfast was fine and the restaurant similar to those in the town but without having to pop out. The bar is quite pricey but comparable to those in town. The days by the river and shading in the hammocks between the pomegranate trees were amazing. The pool is spotlessly clean and water was perfect. We will go back without a doubt. And for anyone with reservations re cats and dogs as I had after reading reviews, don't worry, yes there are some but they do not bother you if you don't bother them.

Room Tip: All rooms are great as place is small and select

Just returned from two lovely weeks at the Asur we chilled out from our hi profile jobs within the first hour of being there, excellent hotel, management and staff . husain the rep was a lovely genuine man who was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. rooms were very homely and comfortable and cleaned daily with clean sheets and soft towels. as was the hotel. lots of extras we normally have to pay for so saved money too. cant be bad . Air con, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, television, safe box,
Met some lovely people and enjoyed the trips, boat trip was nice but could have had a few less people on it for better comfort.
Dalyan was a nice resort a little busier than we thought but some lovely places to eat and just to sit for a drink. one of highlights of the holiday was going to the beach on the boat up the river and the adopted dogs of the hotel very affectionate and funny but not annoying in any way, will return but may be not next year.

Room Tip: all rooms looked good
