In truth, we didn't stay at Assosyal. It seemed too pricey - and frankly, from the outside, I wasn't convinced. But as soon as you go inside, you can see how well your money is spent. It is beautifully, eclectically and artistically appointed - right down to the Phillipe Starck furniture, modern mosaics and sleek decking. So - we ended up eating here often and coming for cocktails nearly every night we stayed in Assos. The view of the valley is spectacular. Assosyal is actually a funny name too - meaning asocial in Turkish. But is was a very social spot for us. Next time, we will stay here. By the time we figured out what a great spot it was, they had booked up!

We spent our christmas night at assosyal boutique hotel. the location of the hotel is just in the village centre in Behramkale and walking distance to The Temple of Athena which is amazing. the owner of the assosyal is an archithect and you can see this factor in the details of the hotel's design. I think the most valuable asset of the hotel is two brothers who work there. They work for the guests 7/24 with a remarkable hospitality. We had breakfast and dinner there. after the semi-brunch style breakfast, we didn't need lunch, and passed throug to dinner..
we can recommend this hotel with complacency.

We stayed at the Assosyal Otel for five nights. This was a truly special experience for us. The hotel is exquisitely renovated from old buildings and decorated in a stylish and contemporary manner. It is beautiful, elegant and tasteful from every point of view. The court yard or veranda behind the rooms has a fabulous view over the ancient ruins and scenic country, sitting on the hill above the Mediterranean. Buses make the sea and beach further below accessible and the hotel itself is located in the heart of the old village, where the ruins of the Athena Temple are to be found. As if this was not all exceptional enough, the staff who run the hotel are wonderful, pleasant, efficient and kind people. They made it feel like we were visiting old friends, rather than just guests staying at a hotel. Among the many pleasures of being here is sitting out on the beautiful veranda and sipping a glass of wine under the stars at night. The breakfast was also excellent and beautifully presented. It takes a bit of effort to get to Assos. Arriving and staying at the Assosyal Otel makes it well worth it from every point of view!
