In truth, we didn't stay at Assosyal. It seemed too pricey - and frankly, from the outside, I wasn't convinced. But as soon as you go inside, you can see how well your money is spent. It is beautifully, eclectically and artistically appointed - right down to the Phillipe Starck furniture, modern mosaics and sleek decking. So - we ended up eating here often and coming for cocktails nearly every night we stayed in Assos. The view of the valley is spectacular. Assosyal is actually a funny name too - meaning asocial in Turkish. But is was a very social spot for us. Next time, we will stay here. By the time we figured out what a great spot it was, they had booked up!
