I think this must be our best holiday ever. We were able to unwind in the most breathtakingly stunning and peaceful surroundings, eat the most fantastic healthy food (much of this is organic), and enjoy the area's natural beauty whether it be the amazing beach nearby, the ruins at Olympus and Phaselis, the local boat trips or canyoning in a nearby gorge. The service was excellent but never intrusive and the accommodation was comfortable and very clean enabling complete privacy. We can't wait to return!

We enjoyed a fantastic ten days in Cirali, staying in the Kibala pension - a group of individual wooden chalets within a beautifully tended garden of fruit trees, which itself lies in a dramatic rocky gorge.

The owner and manager of Kibala - Bulent - is a charming chap who clearly takes great pride in the quality of his operation. He makes himself available during both breakfast and dinner and will answer any of your questions or arrange transport/outings as required. It's well worth sharing a drink with him, but be prepared for a hangover if you underestimate the potency of Raki (as I did!). He's supported by Mahmood and Sadat who keep the place spic and span and serve meals, along with a great cook (who's name we never did discover).

The food is a real high point, as Bulent goes to the market each day to source wonderful, fresh ingredients for the traditional Turkish breakfast and superb variety of evening meals you'll tuck into.

Cirali itself is a small village leading to a beautiful, peaceful 1km beach - the other end of which lies the ruins of Olympos along with the slightly 'younger' resort that resides there. There's a variety of beachside restaurants available to choose from where the food is fresh and good if simple. So, while there are all the holiday facilities you need, it's certainly not a fully-developed resort. Whether you think this is a good or a bad thing will probably dictate whether Cirali is right for you.

If you're looking for a holiday geared around calm and relaxation, Cirali makes a great choice (particularly in comparison to the hideously overdeveloped environs of Antalya). And, if you're heading to Cirali, we can't think of anywhere we'd rather have stayed than Kibala. Thanks Bulent and the team for a fantastic break!

This place was one of the best places that we stayed during our five week holiday to Turkey. Having an individual cottage with complete privacy was fabulous. The breakfasts and suppers were fresh, well presented and very tasty using local ingredients and recipes. The owner Bulent and his staff make sure that all is as it should be. You feel totally pampered.

Do you want to feel yourself like ancient anatolians? Then you must stay in Kibala Hotel which is located in the heart of Chirali reserve.

Just believe us the 80 km from Antaliya airport is nothing when you breath extremely fresh air behind the logo "Kibala". When you look slightly up at the first time you can not stop look studign steep mountain side which protect Kibala from East winds. When you come through lemon and orange trees to your apartment and slightly forward you see the bed of strong mountain river but don't be afraid this river shows the strength of God only in Spring.
From this moment you must know that you stay in the place which was selected by Greece Gods as their Residence.
The master of Kibala - mister Bullent - is not Greek but he cooks like God. He is tall strong man with warm sharm smile. He is very interesting interlocutor and if you will have a chance ask him about the word "Kibala" but be sure you have some historical knowledge.
As you understand in Kibala you stay in orange and lemon trees paradise surrounding by real alive chikens and other nature creatures including cats and dogs and at the same time your appartment - small personal house - can embrace you in its comfort and you feel yourself in privacy.
Please, be in time for dinner and reserve the one of two best tables in front of entrance to the chimney room. The delicious meals from Bullent or his assistant are unforgetable part of Kibala. And you must order Capadocia wines Ecik Karasi, Emir, Okuzgozu & Bogazkere.
Kibala is not so far from sea coast as it may seem like for the first time. In Kibala you stay as it done thousands years ago anatlians - and you can make sure it by walking through ancient town Olimpus to the beach.
Also if you have luck you see inetresting German man on a beach who comes to this place with his wife for 20 years. He constructs original castles from sea stones.

Don't miss chance to visit Chimera mountain which is close to Kibala by hiking.

Have a good time and venture in Kibala,

Ruslana & Maxim

Kibala is excellent for you especially if you are running away from the crowded city. You can sit in the front balcony of your bungalow for hours and time go past by without noticing. We've spent two nights there and will definitely go back next year! Our bungalow had an excellent view of the mountains. It was clean and kept well serviced throughout our stay. The bungalows are in the middle of a green garden embellished with mulberry trees. The owner is a very kind person, who is concerned with every detail of your stay. It has a small restaurant with wonderful local food with perfect presentation. You can walk to the Olympos beach and the ancient Lykian city of Olympos in 10 minutes . One of the best hotels I've stayed in around the world. Don't miss this hidden gem.
