During three weeks in Ávila, this became my favorite place for lunch and for snacks. The menu is excellent and highly recommended. This is a genuine Spanisch "bar", where the locals gather for a bocadillo or bocatin (small bocadillo) at around 10:30 a.m. and have lunch at 3 p.m. Simply enjoy the friendly atmosphere!
I strongly recommend the mixed salad ("ensalada mixta") as a starter and then one of the choices from the second plate of the menu. You will have mineral water or wine and a dessert for about 9 euros.
Compared to the other bars and restaurants in Ávila, this one serves much better food for a lower price than most. Secondly, there aren't many tourists in this place, although located right in the town center!
