This hotel is situated right in the Citadel of Sighisoara, a really beautiful place. The hotel itself is right in the main square, a few steps away from the Restaurant Vlad Dracule. The hotel was quite basic, but it was warm and we had a perfectly acceptable breakfast bearing in mind that it was so quiet. Bread, ham, cheese, tomatoes, and jam, coffee and orange juice.

Nothing more to say really.

A lovely place, with lovely staff, in the heart of the Sighisoara citadel. Clean, well-restored rooms, in a beautiful, well-restored house. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing else to say really -- would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sighisoara citadel is really a dusty jewel. We were a bit sad that little appears to have been done in the citadel area for the holidays -- the gift-shops had one-size-fits-all junk. Apparently the town planners with any creativity have emigrated. But that said, we were happy to have this gem all to ourselves, and I guess if anyone starts noticing this place, we wouldn't be able to afford to stay in casa cu cerb!

This hotel is both walkable to the train station and to much of the city of Sighisoara. Rooms are large, bathrooms are large. Breakfast is OK, a few choices for plates and convenient in the AM. There are many things to walk to near this hotel - shopping, churches, the citadel towers, etc. Would definitely return! Just steps from Vlad Dracul's birthplace as well. What a beautiful place... At least one person on staff always spoke English. Also, the laundry service is great when you're living out of a backpack for weeks.

Room Tip: Windows can be small, so maybe a corner room may have more than one?

Location is excellent being in the middle of the citadel town. It is a historic hotel but the room and modern bathroom were both clean and spacious. Food was good with breakfast cooked to order. We also had dinner which we enjoyed very much. The only downer was wifi was not operating during our stay but the reception staff were kind enough to lend us their computer to allow us to briefly check emails, Sighishoara is a beautiful quaint little town. The government invested in lights to light up the place at night so it's as beautiful to see as day.

Room Tip: Attic room was big if you don't mind stairs

This beautiful small hotel is in a building that is hundreds of years old, situated on the main square. Only 10 rooms, simply furnished but immaculately clean & very spacious. We had a lovely attic room on the 3rd floor with exposed ceiling beams and a dormer window, looking out over the square. No elevator so its a challenge to get heavy bags up the stairs, but well worth it. There is also no airconditioning -we were visiting in summer so warm in the room during the day but the temperatures are quite cool at night & comfortable for sleeping.

The breakfast room is full of character with a vaulted brick ceiling - reasonable choice of hot & cold foods. free wifi & helpful staff.

The location on the main square is perfect - very nice restaurants and cafes on the square & everything within the old citadel withing easy walking distance.

Highly recommend staying at this great hotel.

Because this hotel is bang slap in the middle of the old town , on top of a steep hill , its a little difficult to reach by car . But once arrived , wow ! What a wonderful location ! What a wonderful hotel ! The large room was simply furnished & decorated - but was very comfortable . The view from the front rooms is 2nd to none & with the bells from the nearby tower - truly delightful.
We had an excellent dinner here . The hotel's cafe serves breakfast to non-residents - so you chose from the standard menus - its not a buffet selection as you'd get at any of the major chains.

Room Tip: buy your car park ticket from the cabin by the barrier , to gain access to the Citadel : and hang on...

We spend one night here, coming back after 5 years. We found the place still lovely, but it should be renovated a bit.
It is right in the middle of the place. The breakfast is just ok, but the restaurant is great and the prices ok. The staff is nice and polite.
