“DO NOT BOOK HERE”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

Although this hostel is in a great location I would not recommend it to anyone - the rooms smell horribly like grease and toilet and even opening the windows the entire day will not help. Wifi does not work and the staff is ok but nothing more. I would recommend this only if you are on a very very tight budget and have a broken foot.

This nice rustic place is all about its location in the heart of the medieval Citadel. One night is probably enough to feel the atmosphere. Good value if booked via booking platforms. There is no kitchen.

The location is just perfect, but the staff is absolutely not friendly and the shower was okay but definetely the worst of all the hostels I have been in my romanian trip!
I would recommand to stay there if you want to be in the heart of Citadel (location is really important for me), but if you want a comfy place you are going to be disapointed for sure.

Great Location RIGHT in the heart of the Citadel. Very well priced as well at 115 RON a night for a private room with a bath. Room was large, clean and right off the restaurant. Name 'hostel' is misleading as you can expect NO help from staff with regards to information on any subject. There is no kitchen. This is more of a reasonably priced hotel. Not a hostel. Breafast was really nice. I paid 13 lei for a very filling breakfast of bread, eggs, bacon and coffee. I would recommend because If you DO need help with information on things to do/see - there is a Tourist Information Centre right around the corner.
