Never in the world the past is in the actually life of people . In the street, in the most of historical buildings are people dressing in ancient costumes, or in amour chest plates, or carrying shields, axes for fight, lances. There are many diferent cultural events ( music, theatre, parade) or medieval events which include military equipment, every day for everybody! EvaChiser

Can walk everywhere and enjoy the sights. Spend a leisure day or two to enjoy should be enough. Any more may be a bit boring.

very pretty, but not a lot to do in November! most towers were closed. 1 day was sufficient , the clock tower was interesting

I loved walking around this town. We came in late, and after dinner we walked around the town and graveyard until midnight or so. Always felt safe.

In the morning we visited the cemetery and walked the center again, and it was even more interesting in the daylight!

Very crowded with tourists and tourist shops, cafes, etc but very beautiful.

Friends (who hadn't been to Romania) warned me about visiting the area, but they were wrong! It was one of the highlights of my trip. All of the "hazards of Romania" (packs of wild dogs, Roma theives, etc) were not evidenced at all in Sighisoara. I even walked around taking photos late one night and had no issues at all.

The buildings are beautiful, the scenery is fantastic, the people are friendly and I really love the area.

Of course, there is all the Dracula stuff but that's such a small part of Sighisoara that it's kind of ironic. I thing most Western tourists go there for the whole "Dracula experience" but, once there, you forget all about it and just enjoy one of the nicest places around.
