We had the pleasure to spend Christmas Time in this hotel and is great as the atmosphere you can see yourself in Austria and wait to be served by famous Tyrolese waitresses ...
Everything is made to delight you ... The menu is quite varied but poor in ideas, we expect to find dishes closer to what he wants to look ....
I experienced great disappointment to the organization of Christmas ... could be better ...
A place to consider if you want to visit Sighisoara.

Good dishes, some local specialities. Unfortunately, the Internet network did not work all the time. And the hotel has no swimming pool, but a spa retreat. Difficult to find, a little hidden, but very close to the Fortress.

Room Tip: Don't eat all to the breakfast, it is simply to much. But don't go later than 9h30!

The hotel lies at the foot of the main climb of the city, no more than a few minutes away from the old centre. Tucked off the main drag, the place is most of the time quiet and peaceful (and even the people residing in the neighbourhood, most of them rroms, fail to spoil the harmony of the surroundings). It offers a huge parking (which unfortunately swarms with cars and people every time the hotel hosts an event – congress, private party, wedding, etc. – like that we stumbled upon when being there), free wifi (but only throughout the public space, not in the rooms). The main lobby as well as the main eating room are lushly clad in varnished carved wood but, in opposition with other cheap resorts, this particular adornment embellishes the place and gives it a refined touch. Rooms are also opulently decorated but, given their dimensions (at least we were lodged in a fairly large senior suite) they look airy and very nice. The entire location is exceptionally clean and very well preserved. The front desk personnel is polite and helpful, yet the waiters (at least those on duty when we visited the place) are (or at least were) acting perfunctorily and refused to serve us the dinner (claiming they were tired after the wedding they had served at). Not to mention that they were terribly hard to find when to be asked about the bill… As for the other facilities, La Pastorella wine cellar had been bespoken for a private event or so hence we didn’t get to enjoy it while the wellness area appeared to be closed that weekend. Nevertheless, we pretty much enjoyed the residence and also the old city (which is, as said above, genuinely accessible by foot) as well as the Sighisoara film festival.

We checked out trip advisor when we were in Bucharest re where to stay in Sighisoara.
Only needed 1 night, in first week of September

And Trip advisor works
Hotel Binder Bubi was rated number 1 of 40+ hotels in Sighisoara area.

Took the TA advice and we were rapt.
Close to centre of town-- a short taxi ride from rail station (came across from Sibiu by train) and just a few minutes walk from hotel base of walk up to Sighisoara old town

We wondered a bit about our choice when the taxi turned of the main road (Strada Ilairie Chendri), onto Nicolae Balcescu Street, a partly paved street.
But, after a moments, we turned the corner and could see the green facade of the Binder Bubi hotel.

In through the gates to the forecourt, an impressive front entrance and on the left we could see the ground level open veranda and terrace area.

Opened the front doors and wow!.. all the wood panelled interior.
Check in was quick, welcoming and smooth.
Our room was great, quite large, luxurious feeling, quality fittings, decor and great bathroom area.
Wifi worked in the room (get your password from reception)

In our stay (early Sept) the weather still quite warm and we loved being out on the veranda area.
Had an initial relaxing drink there and our evening meal, and lunch the next day.
Drinks were beautiful and cold, fair prices too.. The service was exceptional.
-No tour group crowds during our stay.

We then went off for a walk to old town.
After a few minutes we were at the base and started the walk up.
Amazing building as you walk up and up to the top area.
Click click of the camera every 30-40 metres.
We loved walking around the old town area, and along surrounding walls.
Numerous places to sit down, relax, refresh.

Back at the hotel we has a look at the fabulous cellar dining area used for meals during cooler months
We had our evening meal outside.. White glove service, and a great meal in a fabulous atmosphere.

Heard a person complain that soup was cool/cold. Yes, ours was not super warm, but we did find that "cooler" soup trait a few places in Romania.
It may get cool as they serve it from a larger serving bowl.
If you like it heat hot, just ask and I am sure the staff will oblige.

Whilst we only needed 1 night, (were linking up with the overnight train to Budapest) we would have easily stayed longer.
The Binder Bubi was really gem for us and we loved our stay.

Room Tip: We had a room on looking out onto the rear side street and it was nice and quiet. Seemed to be plen...

This was a very pleasant place to stay. My family and I were in Sigisoara for two nights during which time we spent at Hotel Binder Bubi. The hotel itself is new, baroque-esq in its decor, and well situated near, but not in the center of the old town, and has plentiful breakfast options. On vacation we adore walking so this location was great because we always got about a 5 minute walk on either end of the touristing to reflect and discuss. The breakfast options included three or four kinds of cereal, meats, cheeses, yogurts, breads, pastries, juices, coffees, jams, and pretty much anything else you can think of that Romanians tend to serve for breakfast. The decor of the hotel was notable to us, but became memorable on our final night: we were sitting in the lobby, discussing the torture museum, the clocktower, and the other sights we had seen when in strode a wedding party. They proceeded to take pictures for 20 minutes or so before leaving and continuing on with their night. I guess the idea had been to take some pictures with luxurious backgrounds and Binder Bubi was the place to do it.

This hotel, although not in the old town is well situated in Sigishoara. The rooms are good size and comfortable. A problem with the public areas is smoking - which is a prolem throughout Romania. The dining room is bright and fod is good. We had a problem when we were there beause two tour groups were there at the same time which led to some overcrowding. Hot items at breakfast were not always kept hot. Intrior decor is attractive.

Staff are polite, speak English and will go out of their way to help you.
Centrally located and includes massage which was great.
The hotel organized for one of their staff to take us to Brasov for a fee but it was worth the cost.
Thank you to the staff.
