“Fantastic hotel, typical Romanian, with class and all modern comforts.”
Reviewed July 27, 2011

We only stayed one night in this hotel, as we were stopping to see Sighisoara as part of our tour and we booked a junior suite as we were travelling with a toddler. I'm glad we got the suite, it was just fantastic, rustic decorations, with two big rooms and fantastic views of the city. We arrived tired so decided to order room service- the food was excellent and decently priced, they delivered with flowers for the table too, a nice touch. The breakfast wasn't as exciting, there could have been a wider selection and when I got some fruit the waiter came to tell me that table was for 'a group', not for 'everyone'- a bit rude I thought. There could be a wider selection of eggs, ham, cheese, fruit and drinks, bakery etc. The hotel has wifi, but it only works in the lobby or with a cable they can give you in the room, we didn't bother. Parking is free and excellent for walks in the citadel, you don't need to move your car, it's only 5 - 10 mins away. Also, lots of restaurants in the vecinity, as Sighisoara is a small town, so everything is closeby.

All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel, a superior 4 in our view rather than 5 (there is no pool, for example). A special mention to the lovely gardner, who would always greet us and chat with our baby daughter.

Room Tip: Get a junior suite if you can, it's much bigger and with better views.

Had a great stay here, the location is just a short stroll from the citadel and although it's a new hotel it retains some Romanian charm. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and good for advise and directions.. One waiter on our second morning was a bit too cool for school, a little abrupt and less than helpful- maybe he was having a bad day as all the other waiters were very good as was the food..

We stayed here last week. What a great place. Very good location, and wonderful staff. It is located about a block from the old part of town. I would stay here again, as well as recommend it to a friend.

Can't fault it except for there only being showers in the rooms. Reasonably priced good food. 10 min uphill walk to town centre. Quiet location.

The hotel is new - built in 2008, and has an execelent value for money comparing to the 5 stars "german stars" of the services offered. You must go o see the hotel, the services, the spa and the incredible staff. In addtion we have the beautiful city of Sighisoara where we can still find the old fashion "quality" of life.

Room Tip: Just incredbile rooms

This is a wonderful new hotel in Sighisoara. We arrived without having reservations and were shown both a regular room and a junior suite to choose from, both very reasonably priced. Both were wonderfully roomy, had king-sized beds, air conditioning, flat-screen TV's with cable, brand-new looking and charming bathrooms, etc. The only difference between both choices was the size of the rooms and maybe the size of the TV's and a big couch in the junior suite. We opted for the regular room and spent an extremely comfortable and cozy night there. We did not stay long enough to enjoy the spa or sauna offered to guests in the hotel. They offer a breakfast buffet, somewhat disappointing for us as their coffee is very weak and we need a good cup to start our day.
We had driven to Sighisoara from Brasov without much hope of finding nice lodgings and determined to drive on to Sibiu if we did not find anything acceptable in Sighisoara (acceptable meaning air conditioning - the temperature was around 36-37 degrees ºC that day with no signs of cooling down). We had stopped at the outskirts of the old city center to get a local map and the owner of the shop gave us references to this new hotel in Sighisoara located very close by in the old city. We felt incredibly lucky that day!
