Terrible service..we didnt even get to the food..we found some menus at a different table cause after 15 min the waiters still didnt notice the 10 tables where people were waiting to be served..so after 15 min more we just took off even though was raining outside. Do avoid it!

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant because it has a awful food, terrible service and very high prices. The food is either raw, overcooked or reheated and has an awful taste. The staff is treating you poorly as if they where bothered by you coming there. Trying to ask for advices will be hard because they didn't speak any language except romanian . It's a nice building but that's all.

As the home of Vlad (Dracula) this is an interesting building but as a restaurant it is somewhat lacking. We pre-booked in for an evening meal for a party of 26 and didn't receive so much of a smile off the serving staff or owner on arrival or throughout the night. As a travelling party who were all in good spirits (no pun intended!) we made light of the service, but actually, we were served a 3 course meal in and out within 45 minutes and for about 25 of the 45 minutes we felt that we had overstayed our welcome. Plates were literally whipped out of your hand as the last morsel was being eaten off the plate and there did not appear to be any waiting customers. Then the next course was placed down and we were scrutinised by staff from the doorway as we ate, it was an uncomfortable experience with the only ambience coming from a well behaved but happy to be on holiday group of people who made the most of the experience (with humour generally). Whether the restaurant had never catered for a party this large or whether it had been a long night (8.00 pm?) we will never know!!
The food was o.k, tomato soup for starter and chicken for main and chocolate pancake to finish but we had no time to savour because of the tempo of service and the portions were quite small. I wouldn't rush to go back.

As some other people mentioned already, the staff is not prepared for tourists. The food is below average, the only real positive aspect is, that Vlad Depes much probably was born in this building. If you look for some special horror, order a goulash soup - than the horror is perfect (inside and outside).. my goulash soup was white with some funny stuff swimming in it...
