I went here with a party of nearly ten. Our service was great (the kid was a bit overwhelmed because came so late), but he handled himself wonderfully. The food was delicious all around. I had the grilled vegetables, and was VERY happy with them. The gypsy potatoes were wonderfully seasoned too.

After the meal, we walked around Vlad's old pad, and it was a lot of fun. Well worth the visit.

*Check out the cheesy vampire clock for sale on the second floor in the case. It was hilarious*

The cafe is in the house where Vlad Dracul lived in the 1400's. There are a few items worth taking a look at inside the building and it's worth a visit. I had a beer and some traditional Romanian food for lunch on the back veranda and loved it.

They have a Dracula who works there and it was really fun watching him running around. He had very poorly done white makeup on his face, black gloves with skeleton hands printed on them, a cape, top hat and normal black trousers and a white business shirt on. The shirt had a clearly visble pack of cigarettes in the front pocket, which explained the smoker's cough that was very evident. When a tourist would walk up and ask, Dracula would sigh, put down his cigarette, put in his fake teeth, pose for the photo and then afterward pick up his cigarette and mumble something in Romanian which I'm sure was along the lines of "Idiot, bothersome tourists" and sit back at his table. He had to be the worst Dracula EVER but it was soooo bad it was kind of fun.

Visit, have a beer and a meal, take a few photos and enjoy the Dracula kitch.

Very nice, authentic medieval house with great food and service and with a true history. Very nice to sit on the terrace too, if the weather is nice. Strongly recommend!

While visiting Sighisoara medieval town we had a short stop for refreshements and it was very nice!
We recommend to stop there: we tried the turkish coffe - very good, nice green tea, very good sorbet.
We staied outside and enjoy loking the medieval town. The waitress was very kind, the price were good for what we ordered.
I think inside it is a restaurant as well and looks good.
You must try it!

Although a bit more expensive that other restaurants in the historical centre of Sighisoara, we really liked the food and the looks of the place. It is very nice both inside and in the garden terasse. On the less positive side, the staff was not all that enthusiastic and the food took quite a lot of time to make (but we were 12 people with lots of different preferences). Overall though it is recommended.
