Stayed here for a couple nights, and all I can say is AWESOME...

Spent two weeks in Vietnam and this was my favorite hotel, principally because of the location and the service.

I showed up late in the evening and the staff took great care of me. They even gave me a room upgrade and someone let me borrow their personal IPAD charger for the evening, which was above and beyond since I had forgot mine.

The food in the restaurant is very good, and for a reasonable price.

The hotel made arrangements for a motorcycle and driver to pick me up the next day for about $40 if I remember and he took me places cars couldn't go. Ended up drinking some rice-wine fermented in a water-buffalo horn sitting with some H'mong in their home in one of the villages - An experience I'll likely remember the rest of my life.

And, WOW, the views. Watching the misty clouds in the mornings settling amongst the mountains at the back of the hotel. Amazing.

The staff held onto my bags during the motorcycle ride and let me shower at the hotel that afternoon before I did a late check out to catch their bus back to the train station.

Hotel very well located, slightly away from the noisy heart of town, but within walking distance. The decoration of the hotel is great, displaying a lot of craft of local ethnies, a great sense for details.
The personal is amazing, treating us like we would be dear friends of family, attentive and discreet. The tours booked through the hotel were also of truly of great quality and gave us an opportunity to observe, try to understand and exchange with local people. The food is also good and Dzung is doing a great job there.

Last week we spent an amazing holiday in Sapa and stayed 3D2N in H'Mong Sapa hotel. We booked the room through email and had very fast response from Ms.Dzung. The room is nice and as requested, we had a room with mountain view. Delicious breakfast with a lot of variety. Souvenir shop is the best one in Sapa, you will find a lot of unique bags, cushion and stitches. The last but not least are the staff and also the hotel owner. They are very friendly and helpful, I really impressed with them. At the last day we went to Hao Thai village, attending a wedding ceremony for Pang, one of the hotel's waitress. It was very unique experience for sure. We also invited for lunch in one of the Lady who work in H'mong Sapa hotel souvenir shop. Another amazing experience for my family. My 5 yo daughter was really enjoying her holiday and want to stay in Sapa for good :). Thank you H'Mong Sapa, keep the great work. Btw this is the 1st time I have to hug the receptionist when leaving the hotel, thank you so much Dzung.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. The staff were very attentive in responding to my emails and booking us a room, and even upgraded us. When we arrived early from the train they picked us up for free as I had booked through email. They gave us a room to use until ours were ready which was a really nice welcome. They let us have breakfast but we didn't realise at the time that breakfast was quite expensive - we had misinterpreted the receptionist that it was included (it isn't very good value and the food isn't great so on this day after arriving from the train I recommend eating breakfast in town for cheaper). The rooms were great and the view was incredible from every room and the outside area. The location is perfect too - a short hike up the hill but worth it to be out of town slightly and surrounded by the beautiful views. We also booked a tour through the hotel which was really authentic and highly recommended. Again we weren't clear that the drop off back to the train wasn't included - so maybe ask the staff to be clear about what is and isn't included as there can be miscommunication with all of the nice smiles :). But in any case the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay fantastic and I would definitely stay again and recommend to all of our friends and family!

Room Tip: All of the rooms that I passed have fantastic views and area really nice

We kind of knew what to expect before we reached the hotel thanks to all the reviews here. Nonetheless, we were impressed with the friendliness and service of this hotel. The young Hmong girls looked well trained and tried hard to serve us during the meals, even though sometimes it took some effort to communicate in English and more attentive services seems to be needed during the waiting. We stayed for 3 days in 2 nights and our overall satisfaction was extreme, thanks also to the great view and the beautiful interior of the hotel - it really look more beautiful than in the photographs.

We have just returned from Vietnam. Stayed at H'Mong Sapa Hotel. Was greeted with a fabulous cup of cinnamon, ginger tea which was delicious and enjoyed many times while we stayed there.
Staff was friendly, helpful and the rooms were clean, tidy, marvellous views.
I would stay there again when we go back some day. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Overall good, but some of the rooms smell very musty and damp. The VIP rooms are stunning and well worth it. It depended who was on how good the reception service was. Some are not friendly or very helpful.

Room Tip: Avoid the lower ground rooms. Highly recommend the VIP rooms or asking to move if you have a musty r...
