We spent a night there while in Sapa as part of a package so I am unsure how much we paid. Impossible to rate value without knowing.
The pluses- some rooms have a very nice view (ours was partial view), they have a shower and setting area for the post-train and pre-train waiting (a big consideration when going to Sapa), they have umbrellas to borrow during rain, and the hotel is relatively new and thus in overall good condition. The bed was comfortable, which is nice after a long walk. It is a little past the busiest part of town but a short walk.
The not-pluses- it was cool and damp when we were there and the common areas were too cool, the restaurant was downright cold, there was a good deal of outside noise (music) from our room, staff seemed disinterested.
Assuming that the price was low, then this is a reasonable choice, it is higher than market then I would look elsewhere. The common area for waiting is essential in Sapa and I would not choose another place unless it was as nice as Sunny Mtn Hotel.
