Verry well organised Hotel. The Staffel is very helpful, and can organise all you need. The location is direct in town, but in a little hidden side road. So its peaceful and quiet. I spand only one night, but it was really worth it.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. location and view amazing. friendly staff.
Very bad manager who could not organize us a train ticket (lao cai to hanoi) within 2 days. He overcharged us and his colleagues in lao cai stole our fuel of our motorcycle, when loading it to the train.

I enjoyed the small hill walk to the entrance of the hotel, after exploring the town, as we were not bothered by the locals, and our balcony had a lovely view across the town and surrounding mountains. The room was massive, with a king and two big singles in a separate area, with a really comfy bed ( not hard, like most of Vietnam!), and a spacious modern bathroom. We smiled at the swan and elephant shaped towel arrangements, decorated with flowers, a nice personal touch! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, taking time to chat and make us feel welcome. Breakfast was basic in choice but generous, fresh and promptly served. They even didn't object to all the coffee I was drinking!! We only stayed one night, as we were part of a tour, but would have happily stayed longer to explore the area more fully.

We were a group of 3 families travelling together. The 3 family rooms available made our stay extremely comfortable. The hotel was friendly, clean, welcoming, central and the breakfast lovely and fresh (loved the fruit platter each day also). The owner provided so much help in arranging tours (for our large group of 12) and even joined us one day on a trip to local villages. Most of us took the minivan he arranged, however 4 of our fittest joined him riding bikes there and back - very special and personalised trip for all of us! As the hotel is family owned and run, the experience of staying there is more of staying in a comfortable family home than a hotel! Hopefully we will get back one day!

Mr Huong organised our train tickets to Sapa from Hanoi also private car to Bacha market for us.
The Orient Express train was very good!! And it delayed about 90min. so it was very lucky to have a private car to the market. it was a bit expensive but my son caught a cold in Hanoi so it was much easier than using local transport.
I booked a 2 bedroom family room. It was big and very nice.
And very handy place to go anywhere. I loved this hotel.
