“Best way to support the mong-people in sapa ”

Thank you very much to the sapa sister "gin" for showing us the nice nature in a Perfect english. We Started our 1 Day Trip at our hotel at 9 am and came back at 3:30 pm. We Chose the "Hard Way"
and walked trough Rice paddy, up and down and through 3 nice villages without disturbing the People Who live there. During the complete Trip two h'mong People went with us and helped us crossing the River and Balance through the Rice paddy. During our meal, we bought some handmade stuff. The Last part of the tour, we drove on the back of a motorbike back to sa pa.

Allover costs: 66 Dollar for the tour for two People, 1.100.000 dong for 4 nice Souvenirs from the h'mong women. The price could be too high, but we didn't negotiate with them. After the Shopping, we got two further presents (additionally to the plant Art which they maked for us during the Trip)

Thank You for the nice experience

“Great Trekking Experience”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Sapa Sisters showed us the off beaten path away from tourists and took great care of us while we were trekking down the hill for 9km. The only place the Guide took us was to Cat Cat Village which is easily accessible and tourists could find their way themselves. On that, we felt that we do not need a Guide. Otherwise, we are happy with the all the services the Guide provided.

“Do this!”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

I cannot recommend this activity highly enough. We booked a trip with Sapa Sisters after reading all the great reviews on Tripadvisor and it was without doubt the highlight of our trip. After getting collected from our hotel by our guide, Chinh, we walked through the town and off into the valley below. Chinh was incredibly knowledgable and fun and as well as getting to experience the sights and sounds of the mountains we learnt a lot about the Hmong Culture and it's people too. A truly memorable experience!

“Absolutely fantastic experience, highly recommended”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

I travelled to SaPa with my three children aged 16, 14 and 10. We took a one day trek from SaPa through Y Linh Ho village, Lao Chai village and Ta Van village. Our guide 'Little Chi' was wonderful and we had the chance to meet her mother and sister and her sister's little baby boy. We had great fun taking the 'hard' path up along the ridge of a mountain on a single trail before dropping down a very, very steep path to the roadway where the 'easy' path was. My daughter was not keen on the 'hard' path so Chi asked her mother to walk with her on the easy path and meet us at Lao Chai village, while the boys and I took the mountain path. We learnt a lot about the H'mong tribe and the local area. The fact that this business helps local H'mong women earn a good living is also a big plus for this tour business.

“Sapa Sisters”
Reviewed September 26, 2013 via mobile

We have just returned from a trek with our own personal guide Pan. We asked for the less touristy route and we certainly got it!! We trekked for 50km and saw rice paddy fields, jungles, mountain, rivers, waterfalls and local villages. Pan is an excellent guide and took us along a very challenging route, but we always felt safe in her confident hands. The only negative was the first village. We were joined by some local women who spent the entire meal trying to sell us stuff, not what you want after a long day trekking. They also had a sick cat that was starving to death. My wife took care of it and gave it some food and water but the owners seemed indifferent to the poor animal's obvious suffering. There was also a lot of plastic rubbish on the route which was disappointing as it really marred the beautiful landscape.
