“Nice,quaint spot in SaPa”
Reviewed August 12, 2012

Spent 2 nites and 3 + days what with the early train arrival and nitetime departure. Good hotel, friendly & helpful staff, central location. Taxi van from train station didn't take us to hotel but rather dropped us off in town. We walked a bit and got lost. Friendly local gal called the hotel on her cell and 2 of the guys there walked 10 minutes in the rain to meet us with umbrellas to walk us to the hotel. Nice service. Breakfast was OK, not great but substantial. Offered a shower if we wanted b4 our nite train back to Hanoi. Would certainly return.

Room Tip: Book a room on the front balcony. Lovely view out to the mountains when the fog has lifted.

We spent two nights at this hotel. It is not that luxury, but everything is ok, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but adequate.
However the service was outstanding and over expectation. Hotel staffs were very helpful. They helped us to arrange a shared group of trekking to the village near by at cheap price. On the last day as we already checked out from the room but we waited for the evening train, we could be allowed to use hotel shower/bath room with towel. The offered towel was over expected as we though we would need to use our own towel. Moreover, a bottle of water was also given to all customer before leaving the hotel. It was very nice and showed that they really care on customer.

Therefore, if you look for a hotel with reasonable price with very good service. Sapa Luxury hotel would be the best choice. We had no doubt why this hotel has been voted in top ranked.

This hotel is in the centre of Sapa with all the restaurants nearby. The staff is incredible nice and the rooms are big.

However, it is a very noisy hotel. Every floor has 4 rooms, you can hear everything's that is happening in the different rooms. Also the bedsheets and towels are not really clean.

The hotel also offers tours. We did an one day trekking tour. I think it was okay, but not really out of the box.

I have just returned from a trip to Vietnam as I got special discount ticket to Hanoi. I had heard so much of Sapa and decided to visit. I must thank "tripaddvisor.com" who had suggested Sapa luxury hotel; though I booked it through local travel agency.
My experience with them was fantastic. I am a vegetarian and they went out of their way to cook some very special Vietnamese vegetarian breakfast for me.
This hotel is also very conveniently location in the center of city as well as close to all main attractions. Few minute away from entrance to cat cat village, one minute to market, two minutes to cau May st, where most of the restaurant are, couple minutes to city square, very close to lake.
I was most impressed by their 'house-keeping' everything would be neatly warped and kept on bed. Extremely impressive.
They also arrange tours and and guide what and how to go about.
Their rooms are large and spacious and every floor has a balcony were we used to sit and drink and enjoy the view of Haspine mountain and the valley, a feast to eye.
I would surely recommoded this hotel to all my friends who visit Sapa.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms have view of mountains.

Our family had the two front rooms onto the balcony that had spectacular views across the Sapa valley and of mist shrouded Fanxipan, the rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast was ok (but needed supplementing locally for our two teenage sons) so as a summer retreat from the Hanoi humidity it was great and good value as well. Would stay again.

We spent 2 weeks in Vietnam, and Sapa was the highlight of our trip. The Hotel was comfortable and clean and the location was perfect. It is an easy walk to the markets and Cat Cat Village (and the beautiful Waterfall). On arrival we were given a free bottle of Dalat Red Wine and our room was upgraded to a deluxe suite at no extra cost! But, without doubt the best part of our stay was the generosity and welcoming atmosphere of the Hotel Staff! We were invited to have a traditional Vietnamese dinner with the Hotel Manager and his family and learnt a lot about Vietnamese culture along the way. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. I would recommend this hotel to anybody and everybody visiting Sapa.

We were picked up at the train as agreed, and recieved a nice welcome arriving at the hotel. Our room was not ready of course arriving very early in the morning, but we were allowed to use another room to get some rest until our own room was ready - very nice gesture! And our own room was ready earlier than expected. The staff was from the moment we arrived very helpful and attentive, and also arranged a nice trek for us. Our guide was a local girl - Sue - speaking good english and she was very nice.

Our first room was quite dark and a little damp, but after the first night we were upgraded to one of the 2 VIP rooms - a very nice and big room with the most fantastic view. On the last day we were able to pay for late check-out wich was really nice since it was raining most of the day.
The breakfast is OK without being fantastic. The only really not so good thing is the stone hard beds - but that we have experienced at other places also.
We had a really really nice stay and the staff did everyting they could to give us the best stay in Sapa. And we realy enjoyed Sapa even though it is very turisty.

Room Tip: Go for the VIP rooms or rooms with a view. The others are a little dark - and after all you go to Sa...
