Hotel is very centrally located up a long stepped path from central gardens. The hotel is perched on the hillside as are all the buildings in Sapa.
The rooms are a good size but very basic. The views from some rooms are spectacular. The views from everywhere in Sapa are spectacular.
The staff are very helpful but very few speak English (only Viet) but they try very hard.
We were in the hotel as part of a prebooked trekking package and the restaurant food was a set menu but it was good and plentiful.
Cons: no lift which is challenging after trekking or carrying bags
Toilets cannot accept toilet paper and it goes in basket which has smell/hygiene issues.
We enjoyed the staff who treated us very well. The hotel was adequate.
The black Hmong who hound you are extremely annoying and really reduce the experience of Sapa.
Advice re Black Hmong - completely ignore them or firmly and politely say "no thank you" or you will be followed and pestered.
