This is a 5 star place for horses and riders and parents and diners. Very gentle quiet horses, sleek great condition in spotless stables. Covered lesson area and arena plus large outdoor arena.
Lots of staff keeping the place calm, friendly, beautiful.
We had a very tasty light lunch. Pumpkin tortellini and asia style tuna salad with a bottle of Aravina Estate chardonnay. So hard to get good winenin bali but BEC has a cafe and cellar door operated by Australian vineyard from Margaret River. How good is that.
There were several tables full of yummy mummies dining while their darlings were riding. Some of them spent an hour or so in the pool after their riding. This is a very family friendly place. Fabulous grounds, more attractive than riding centre I have seen in Australia. Even if you dont ride, just go there for the food and ambience.

iI recently visited the place after hearing about it in Yallingup.., Western Australia. Its very new so there's not to much vegetation , its a bit of a desert but I'm sure that will change in time when they get some nice tropical gardens established. It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be it looks like it takes up about five acres of land . The pool area looked really basic again lack of Bali tropical gardens. The concepts good looks like great place to drop the kids of while you can have a wine.
When your in the main drinking and entertainment area you look out over the paddocks and all you can see are houses its kind of off putting , Ther saddler seats at the bar are pretty funny you wouldn't want to be loaded trying to sit on them as the polished leather is hard to stick to. Guess you have been for a ride and be all sweaty and thirsty as a camel.
If the property was on about 10 or 20 acres and had a bigger theme it would be a better experience but with the price of land in Canggu it would be impossible. The covered riding pavilion is great there were a heap of kids getting lessons which looked like a great thing to do on the holidays and would suit the local expat gang. Be interesting to visit again in a year or so to see what develops.

While visiting Bali recently, i took my daughter for a series of riding lessons at the Bali Equestrian Centre. I was absolutely amazed at the quality of all the facilities as well as the international instructors. They cater for all levels of riding and have a huge range of very well cared for horses. I can thoroughly recommend BEC to any horse enthusiast !!

Visited Bali Equestrian Centre in Canggu last week, and had a delicious 5 star meal in the new Aravina Restaurant. The food was superb along with great friendly service. It was also wonderful to have a glass of Cape Discovery Sauvignon Blanc. Believe Aravina wines from Margaret River will be stocked and arriving shortly. Know where I will spend a lot of time next visit to Bali. Being able to buy a bottle or glass of fine MR wine to go with great food, just fits the bill for me. Everything about the complex is absolutely first class and no expense has been spared to give the patron a top experience whether that be at the equestrian side of things, or relaxing by the pool and arena enjoying the delights the restaurant has to offer. Also will look at bringing my granddaughter up and staying at the luxurious Villas (with private pool ) available for rent and she can ride ponies every day whilst I relax at the complex and in the Aravina restaurant. Congratulations to all involved. This is a world class establishment and an absolute MUST DO when visiting Bali
