Thanks Wayan for driving us all home after dinner! We had a lovely meal here - can recommend the lemongrass chicken. Had a lovely chat with Wayan and her brought us all (9 of us) home because the walk was about 1km.

We met friends here recently and booked a large table on the grass downstairs. This worked very well as the kids could all play / swim in the pool. It is a gorgeous place to watch the sun set over nearby rice paddy fields.

Only comments: the beers could have been colder and they didn't serve wine by the bottle which was odd. There were also a ridiculous amount of flies etc.

We popped in for coffee one morning and lunch the next day. The owner, Wayan is friendly as are his lovely staff members. The view over the rice paddies is amazing, but surpassing all this was the BEST lemongrass chicken and, believe it or not, fish and chips. The former was an explosion of flavour and the latter, fat homemade chips with three finely battered fillets of fresh fish. The juices are also delicious and very generous servings. We just loved it!

Visited for early lunch on last day of Bali
When we arrived there was only one other group of four in restaurant.
Ordered from friendly and lovely waitress then began the wait......
When the food eventually came it was delicious. Chicken curry, satay and rice with all the Balinese extras.
The view over the rice paddy is lovely and it was a beautiful day with a cooling breeze blowing.
The chef came and chatted to us, and was delightful and happy to chat.
All in all we had a lovely time but only go if you have lots of time to wait.

We have just returned from two weeks in Channgu. We visited Red Salt on 3 occasions, once for breakfast, once for lunch and once for dinner. It is an excellent restaurant, great setting, and the food was very good. It also had a beautiful new pool which was a hit with the kids. After eating lunch the kids jumped in the pool and we relaxed on the banana lounges enjoying a cocktail and Bintang. Wayan was an excellent host. Choice of food ranged from Indonesian dishes through to the RedSalt burger wich our kids loved. Very reasonable priced, great value for money.
