“Tired of being at your Villa Pool, go to Red Salt!”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

Red Salt is great way to mix it up in Canggu. We would hang out at their pool and drink Bintangs because they were actually cheaper there, 1.50, than at our villa. The pool is out in the open too and doesn't suffer from the shade like our personal pool did. They were just working out their menu for food when we were there but the burger and chicken parm were great. Their tomato sauce for Italian dishes is hands down the best around. The owners are so nice and friendly when you come in. It is a definite must see while in Canggu.

“A little out of the way but worth finding?”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

I wanted something different for my husbands 60th Birthday, I heard about RedSalt from a friend, we were in Seminyak & it was only about 30 to 40 minutes away, nestled amongst the rice fields just near Echo Beach, yes we all made a few wrong turns but we all found our way, all 14 of us. We arrived just on sunset, the views were magnifient,so beautiful & peaceful. The resturant was elivated & was orginally a Javenese house with lots of character even though the resturant is brand new. There is a swimming pool which may be popular with children coming to the resturant or perhaps a romantic secluled dinner. I prewarned Nicole and Wyanne before the event what was happening,so when we arrived it was all decked out for 60th Birthady, it was great! The food was fabulous, local style, fresh, light & lots of it! Fish, chicken, beef, vegetables,& salads all to die for! Drinks were reasonable prices, the service was great, Everyone one left raving how good it was, the best night ever!

“Red Salt Rocks!”
Reviewed August 24, 2012

We drove by this place about 35 times before we walked in. It's on a dirt road that connects Pererenan Beach to Echo beach and it's hard to see how awesome it is from the road. Turns out that they had literally officially opened the day we walked in for lunch. There's a pool out back and a beautifully landscaped yard with a venue to have parties/weddings. The best part though were the owners and staff. I haven't had a good night of playing guitar and singing with my buddies in a while so it was awesome when Wayan (Owner) grabbed his guitar and started belting out everything from Pearl Jam to Pink Floyd and we had an absolute blast drinking Bintangs with him late into the night. It was like I just ran into one of my best friends on the road.

Make sure you go see Wayan and his family. It will be worth the trip.

“Awesome Place!”
Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

Wonderful owners, great pool, great drinks, all around a fantastic place to spend the afternoon hanging out. Ask Wayan to grab his guitar and you'll have an even better time singing and drinking away the day.
