I have just returned from Bali and would highly recommend the Surf Haven retreat. I stayed at Villa Aliya with seven other interesting and like minded women. The villa was amazing and beautiful. The staff were always smiling and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The food was delicious and plentiful. The manager, Manik, was hilarious and always friendly and chatty. She gave us a good insight to life for a young women in Bali.

The guys at Double D surf school in Legian were terrific and very patient. They only occasionally laughed at me falling off my board again and again!!

The highlights of the trip were the Mystic High Tea and getting to know other interesting women and really being able to relax and have someone else, namely Janine the retreat founder, organise everything.

If you need to relax and rediscover yourself outside your roles of wife, mother, worker etc, this is the place for you. It was a great trip and I would love to do it again!
