We were staying at a nearby house with my family, including my 13 month old grandaughter, who on several occasions visited Molly's to go in the pool and have lunch. My daughter was so impressed with the way the staff played with Millie, allowing her parents valuable 5 minutes to enjoy the excellent food on offer. As a family, we visited one morning for a well earned full breakfast and what a treat it was! Scrambled eggs and rosti with HP sauce and baked beans. what a treat. Service was a little slow, however the breakfast was well worth the wait. Whilst we were there, we were shown the accomdation. as we are always looking at options for ourselves, friends and family. I was certainly impressed with the beautiful rooms and the whole ambience of Mollly's retreat.

Could described as possibly be the best chips in the world. When you need a little bit of Britian this is the place to come for egg and chips. feel like visiting Mexico try the fajitas, chicken was my favourite.

Another day the chana massala and chapati were winners. So a multi cuisine venue that works and lives up to its promises

Staff are friendly and accommodating. Pool and Hotel although we never stayed there look most inviting..

Popped into Molly's Restaurant for a quick meal last night. We didn't realise but on Wednesday nights Molly's Restaurant often runs quiz nights to raise money for local charities. Despite being almost full we experienced calm and attentive service by a wonderful set of waiters who were able to serve our meal in a reasonable amount of time. The food was delicious, king prawns, sea-fresh and a lovely butter chicken massala. Have been before but not for over a year and Molly's Restaurant continues to be one of my favourite venues in Kovalam.

One word sums it all - DISGUSTING!! would've given it a Zero rating if that were possible.

The menu quite loudly reads that orders will take 45 minutes to prepare. We ordered the dishes that people in Kovalam can prepare with their hands behind their backs and their eyes closed and yet the Molly's staff were capable of delaying even these dishes.

The menu, while appearing great, is a bad cover up for the surly staff and its complete incompetence. On arrival, we had to request for menus which were finally given without the faintest hint of a smile. When we asked for our order to be taken, we were treated as if they were doing us a favor. During our long & elaborate wait, we were not even offered a glass of water, nor were we asked if we wanted to have any drinks. In the end we also had to request and wait for the bill to arrive. The staff, while being completely incompetent, is also completely unenthusiastic about their job.

After a couple of requests to hurry up with the order, the food did arrive. It was as tragic as the wait itself. We ordered Fish curry which reeked of stale fish from the get go. We couldn't have more than a piece and hand to throw it all away. The chicken biryani was floating in oil and undoubtedly ranks as the worst biryani ever prepared by man. Had we not had a flight to catch, we could've simply paid up and gone to another restaurant for lunch. Unfortunately we had to eat as much as we could and finish what was surely the most horrible meal of our vacation. What a terrible way to end our great vacation!

DO NOT VISIT MOLLY'S!!!
