Tianjin City Private Walking Day Tour

When visiting this area, you truly wander around architecture that resembles Europe. I seen buildings that made me think of home and if you are lucky you can find small restaurants or coffee houses that offer a great stop on the way.

Pick a sunny day and you feel surrounded by details in buildings and streets that are not giving you the feeling you walk in China. The writing on the walls give it away and the people on the street but if you take an evening walk, you might sink away into your own imagination and picture urself walking in Holland, Germany, Belgium or France....

We had a private tour with our own horse carriage and a tour guide. I expected to see rolls of houses of distinct characters. Instead I saw a few streets of run down houses. If not for the tour guide who gave us a running commentary of all the historical Chinese figures who lived in those houses, it would have been an insignificant ride through any parts of town.

Take a walk through this historic part of Tianjin, and get a feel for how life may have been 100 years ago. Many of the historic villas are preserved with many plaques detailing the buildings history.
The Foreign language University buildings, close by, are also worth a wonder.

Lovely location for a stroll through the city's history. Dotted with small Chinese cafés, bars and restaurants.

Very unique place. Serene and tranquil feeling when walking along these streets. There is this horse carriage ride which my son enjoyed so much as he could not get one back at home.
