This place offers very good food, especially their soup dumplings. Just be prepared that it is very expensive. But it is worth a try. You can see their staff making dumplings.

As with the branches back home, prices here are not particularly cheap; we paid about 300yuan for 3pax dinner. We ordered 0.5 serving of traditional soup-in pork dumplings, 1 seafood dumplings, 0.5 vegetable dumplings (quite bland), sautéed kailan, 2 Diet coke, 1 Almond milk, 1plate of red bean glutinous rice (fragrant, soft and nice) and a mango snow ice to share amongst ourselves (good value and yummy for 38yuan). The service from their friendly staff is good and prompt despite the packed restaurant, the food was also served promptly, we enjoyed our meal on our last night in Tianjin. Recommended for travelers who are willing to spend abit more and do not want to get a culture shock from bad service attitude in local dumpling chains.

It's not easy to come here from the Tianjin center. It takes about 20 mins by taxi.
But it deserves the journey. It's a typical chinese big and crowded restaurant, attended by chinese. At the entrance you can see the windows opening into the kitchen where tens of of pleaople pepare any sort of dumpling, Interesting to note how they are dressed..... all covered, gloves, cap, mask, etc. something you cannot see in Europe, very impressive they way they communicate their attention to cleanness.
Food is very good, any kind of dumpling and much more. Although very crowded service is very good, fast and reliable.
An experience to recommend
