Description: At St. Elias Brewing Company, we believe in handcrafting innovative, high quality, world class beers. Our beers match the personality of our business, fun and lively, yet historic and eclectic. Brewing on a 7 barrel brewhouse, we promise our product will arrive fresh in your glass, as beer was intended. Why should your beer travel across the country to your glass, when you can get one fresh from across the room?

It seems that one always returns to the St. Elias. The food here mostly consists of pizza and salads, with some sandwiches. But they are always great.

Our visit this time was with friends and family and among the seven of us, we shared two salads and four pizzas, and still had two take-home boxes. We had a varied batch of the beers and all were excellent. Our one youngster had the root beer and he said it was great, (sadly, no free refills ;)

We were seated after a 25 minute wait (Friday night) and our waitress was super attentive, never leaving a water glass unfilled and continuosly checking. This was amazing as the place was jammed and there are only a few wait staff.

Our one mistake was that we should have eaten on the patio. The weather was beautiful and the bugs not too bad. Seating inside is always noisy, but on this night, they also had 'entertainment', so it was deafening. Not much can be done about it, so grin and bear it.

The menu had lots of different choices of salads. They were a good size salad. The pizzas are smaller so you can have a dinner salad and share a pizza. We went there for dinner 3 times during our trip and enjoyed it every time. If the weather is warm enough they have outside seating.

We ate here on a busy Saturday night (however they were busy every time we drove by). Although we were advised of a 20 minute wait, by the time we got our beer at the bar out table was ready. The beers were very good. For dinner we split an entree salad and a pizza. Both were very good, but I really enjoyed the salad. I would rate the place higher, but the noise level inside was deafening. As a result we ate outdoors among families with children - but all in all better than inside.

I read some other reviews about the place, and despite someone complaining about the types of beer glasses they sold, or the price of the apparel I thought hey the food might be good. It definitely was. Had the brewers bread with blue cheese dressing and red sauce. Really good, fresh ingredients. We had a smokestack and brewhouse pizza combo. Yes, they're 14 dollars and 11 inches, but they're really good. Definitely worth a stop. We were lucky, and got there before it got packed, so be warned. Service was excellent. Now if you're a person that can eat half a large NY Pizza, and congratulations if you can, get one of these all for yourself.
