Owner description: This is hands down the rowdiest tour in Alaska! Rugged Woodsmen compete in 16 events that are part of the rich logging history of Ketchikan, Alaska. The competition is located in the historical downtown just one block of the the cruise ship dock. This competition features current lumberjack athletes who are recognized in the professional sport and travel the world. Thrilling events such as log rolling, chopping, sawing, axe throwing combined with local stories give our guests a glimpse into the wild world of the Alaskan Lumberjack. Fun for all ages and groups of any size. 500 covered, heated and cushioned seats with concessions a authentic Alaskan gift shop gift. Don't miss the axe-tion!

It rained the day we were in Ketchikan but were still able to enjoy the lumberjack show. The seats are covered so we stayed dry however it rained continually on the lumberjacks! That did not seem to slow them down one bit. We thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Great show. Very funny if you like corny jokes. Price isn't bad compared to all the other excursion prices. Fun for the whole family.

Stopped in for a show while visiting town on a beautiful day. As you can expect the show is a bit cheesy but what do you expect. The performers are very talented and entertaining. Price is a bit much but so is everything in AK. Probably would not go back for another viewing, but it is worthwhile once if you are in town. Sitting area is covered, so not to worry if you are there on a less than perfect day. It is one of the rainiest areas in AK.

Even in a light drizzle there was plenty of covered, warm seating. The process was easy, the snack bar was even reasonably priced (yummy lumberjack mochas!) and the show was fantastic. My boys (7/11) just adored it as did their grandma and everyone else in the stands. Go. You won't regret it!

We bought this thru Golden Princess for $35. per person. Yes, it is hokey, but all in the name of fun. We all enjoyed ourselves. The lumberjacks are all champions in their own right and that in itself is very impressive!
They had many competitions, and skits, good enjoyment for all and our group of six ranged from seniors to a 13 yr old. They give out chunks of wood, a 'prize' of one of their competitions, I got one, but ended up leaving it on the ship- what the heck do you do with a chunk of wood?
This was the least expensive excursion we did on our cruise, everything in Alaska is expensive! If you want to enjoy yourselves and laugh at good ol' fun, you'll enjoy this excursion.
