“impressive and corny”

the woodsmen skills are authentic and challenging. The "set up" is corny and the jokes really old but it creates a way to showcase skills that are not often seen or appreciated.

“Excellent entertainment”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2012

During our stop in Ketchikan, we have chosen to attend this show lasting about an hour, which was combined with a trip to Saxman Native Village. It is very well done, the stands are roofed and heated. Two teams of lumberjacks clash in a competition of skill and speed. I found that there was a theatrical aspect that took a little too much space, a little too much of arguments between the belligerents. Nevertheless it is still very entertaining if you've never seen this kind of show. If you go to this show when you stop in Ketchikan, you will have enough time to shop or visit this charming city.

“Hokey, but fun!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2012 via mobile

Our group of 10, ranging in age from 10 to 71, all enjoyed the show. Two of the grandchildren managed to get the score markers that are cut, but they were too large to take home. The jokes are corny, but the skill of the lumberjacks is impressive. It was a nice excusion for us.

“Fun Fun Fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2012

We loved the lumberjack show. After walking around what seemed like tourist trap after tourist trap we were quickly losing my boys, 11 and 5, as well as my husband. Once the show started they were all laughing and enjoying themselves. Sure there's "boy humor" involved but if you sit back and enjoy the athletics and ability of the men themselves it was fun for everyone. Not sure how we're going to bring home our huge wood "cookie" souvenir but my 5 year old couldn't have been happier.
