“kitschy-kan it is not!”

i've read other reviews that say it is cheesy and that it is a good for kids only show but somehow, all 10 of us adults at that all agreed that it was good old plain lumberjackin' fun. if you dont know how to have simple fun and appreciate jokes and laugh at the silliest things, then this show is not for you. im not a big fan of dinner shows and i wasnt expecting much from this one either (although this is not a dinner show too) but i can honestly say that i had fun watching those young men "compete" against each other. it also somehow gives you an inkling as to what these lumberjacks do out there in the wild and i assume it is not easy.

“Cheesy is an understatement”

The cruise ship and travel guides make you feel like your visit to Ketchikan would not be complete without seeing the Lumberjack Show. Believe me, you would be doing yourself a favor if you skipped it. The show consists of 4 lumberjacks and a host. It is an hour long, but the jokes are so bad and the show is so hokey, you are ready for it to be over in 10 minutes. Another reviewer mentioned that even the kids are bored! You are better off saving your $35 per person and walking around downtown Ketchikan, which is lovely.

If you're going here thinking you're seeing a "must see in alaska" think again. This is probably great for young kids but a waste of time for adults. There's too much drama and comedy built into the show that makes it cheesy. Don't waste your time, see the city instead.

“"Great Show "”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

It was a great attraction, very entertaining, very convenient from the Cruise ship's , well worth the money, great seats, they were padded and it was under cover, the layout of the seat's were well thought out, had a great seat, up higher got some great pictures, the lumberjack men had the crowd interacting through out the show and they were very humourous. the end of the show they let you take pictures with them. Would go again!!
