My wife and I LOVED our paddle with Natasha in late June 2017. It was just the three of us so we got to ask lots of questions about the area and Natasha was really knowledgeable. Kayaking is a great way to see a different side of the area and allowed us to get pretty close to to two local harbor seals, one of which was a 3 month old super cute pup. I would highly recommend these folks. They run a tight ship and are really great to work with. Would definitely do it again during prime orca time!

Thank Ben Y

We had an amazing time kayaking beautiful Ketchikan with Natasha. It was active but not too active. Natasha was informative and upbeat. We saw a variety of local wildlife like eagles, sea otters, star fish, sea cucumbers, and jelly fish. We learned a lot about the area while enjoying a gorgeous day in a beautiful place. Highly recommend.

My third time with Southeast Sea Kayaks was simply excellent. The owners Greg and Gillian are very customer focused; they want every client to have the best experience possible. Seeing Ketchikan or Orcas Cove from the water level is a completely different perspective than one gets from the Mountainous Cruise Ship, because your butt is literally below the water line! Paddling a kayak is surprisingly easy. The boats are stable and move pretty fast, even in wind and waves. All boats have rudders for easy maneuverability. If you have paddled a recreational or fishing kayak before, you are in for a treat, because sea kayaks are so much better and faster! On my trip, I saw not only eagles, but harbor seals, orcas and a bear or two (this may not be too common). Near shore, keep your eyes open for interesting things on the rocks such as yellow and purple star fish, mussles, and of course lots of yellow seaweed at low tide. I met two of the guides, Katie, and Jack, both of whom are very friendly and are great leading the small tour groups that Southeast Sea Kayaks likes to take out. Try it; you'll like it.

My daughter and I had the privilege of kayaking with your group on June 20/17. What a delight you all are! You made us feel so comfortable, even though my daughter had never kayaked before. We loved paddling around the coves, it was a decent day, weather wise. We absolutely loved the picnic lunch that was prepared for us, your smoked salmon is to die for! If we ever pass that way again, we will kayak with you again! Highlight of our trip for sure!
Thanks so much!

We went into this tour thinking it was going to be very active & quite a bit of paddling. The tour turned out to be a far more relaxed pace than anticipated. It's not physically exerting & is quite relaxing.

We had 6 people in our group - tour guide was very easygoing and accommodating. We saw a bald eagle and otter on route which was a treat. On the way back the tour company prepared a snack of smoked salmon, capers, crackers and got chocolate - INCREDIBLY tasty :)
