We ate at Annabelle's the first time because we were staying in the Gilmore next door. As we explored Ketchikan the next day, we asked the locals where they went for a special dinner. The responses were almost unanimous--Annabelle's. So we when back for dinner a second time.
The portions are huge. The menu is heavy on seafood as you'd expect but there are steaks for the midwesterners. We especially enjoyed the crab macaroni and cheese and the Halibut and chips.

My fiance and I had lunch there while in port. The hotel/restaurant is lovely and the menu was pleasing. We had the clamari, clam chowder and blackened halibut wrap. All of the food items were fresh and well-seasoned. We will come back if ever in Ketchikan again.

The smoked salmon fettucine and crab mac-n-cheese were awesome! Their kids fries are smiley faces. The only downside to our visit was slow service. The restaurant got slammed as we arrived for a very late lunch and the servers and kitchen were overwhelmed. But, as the place cleared, things definitely improved and the food was excellent.

Visiting Ketchikan on business, I was really happy to find a nice place like Annabelle's.
Sitting in the bar section, rather than the restaurant section, there was a good range of beers available, and the food was reflective of the local products available.
I had halibut as my main meal, and it was very good. My only regret is that I didn't have the King Crab legs!
In comparison to some of the bars in Ketchikan, this was a really impressive place, clearly trying to be as authentic as possible.

We had a great lunch here and enjoyed the local beer in a very "Ketchikan" pub. Halibut sandwich was fresh and tasty. Nice afternoon.
