We visited Annabelle's via a cruise ship in May/June 2013. We had heard many good things from the crew about Annabelle's, also, the Visitors booth at the pier recommended this restaurant.
We were not disappointed.
We ordered the Trio of Chowder, sourdough bread, and Fish & Chips. The food was excellent, hot and delivered by a very pleasant, and knowledgeable server.
The restaurant was very busy, but is quite large and well staffed so we were seated and served promptly.
If you are in Ketchikan, make a point of visiting Annabelle's, you will not be disappointed.

If going to Ketchikan, you have to eat here. Annabelle's has a fun atmosphere and wonderful food. A lot of the locals even go here and don't seem to be bothered that visitors do too!

This restaurant is in the Gillmore Hotel. I usually go there when I am in Alaska. This is a old historic hotel with tin ceilings and has a wonderful parlor dining room. I always order steak here. The food is very good and the atmosphere is great.

We came at the end of the lunch rush and had a short wait for a table, but once we were seated, the waiting began. It took about 10 minutes for the waitress to stop by and acknowledge us. We ordered the chowder in the sourdough bread bowl and fish and chips and the food came out promptly. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was friendly. Our food was delicious and a welcome change from our cruise ship offerings. The only drawback was the initial long wait.

We went to eat here after the four cruise ship hordes had left port, and I think we had a pretty tired staff, as it took over five minutes to get a menu, and finally nabbing someone to get our order taken. The food we got (and the beer) were excellent, though.
