Owner description: The oldest bar in Ketchikan! Est. in 1937. We are a waterfront bar with a covered deck for an outdoor experience. We have 19 draft beers on tap and the best bloody Mary's in Alaska! We are locally owned and operated. Come down and meet Paula who has owned the bar for the last 22 years. She's a hoot!

“Must See”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

If you visit Ketchikan you must visit the Arctic Bar. It is located on the waterfront where the cruise ships tie up. I stop in everytime I am in Ketchikan, the people working there are always friendly and the service is great. The customers are a mixture of locals and tourists. If you are hungry, they will order food for you from the Burger Queen across the street and believe me , the burgers are great Always a fun and interesting place. Stop in for one of their famous Bloody Marys, grab a souviner, they have some interesting ones with their logo , or just grab a quick beer.

“Great local pub”
Reviewed June 7, 2013 via mobile

This place is great. They have good beer, the locals are very friendly. If you want food, you can order from the burger queen across the street and they deliver it to the pub. This was recommended by the locals, and we had a great time. It gets really busy, but the service was quick and friendly.

“Pure Alaskan Hospitality”
Reviewed May 29, 2013 via mobile

Greeted by Paula who has worked there for 27 years and owned it for 18. It's a local hangout and is only closed on Christmas and New Years Day. It has great prices( cheapest beer in the state) and and a vast array of Alaskan beers. I saw popcorn served but no food that I know of. Beers were served ice cold and quickly. It has a sunporch in the back to sit on. We loved the hospitality and friendliness of this place! It's located in the center of town just a hop skip and a jump from the cruise ships

“Local Hangout On Docks”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

This is a great place to meet a few locals and have a beer before returning to the ship. A nice view from the dock deck and a good selection of local brews.
