By far this is the worst dining experience I have had during my 20 years of in and out of Alaska. The halibut and chips were served barely warm. The clam chowder han zero clams, was served cold and began to coagulate. With this pointed out, the waitress said "sorry". And charged for chowder not eaten. The least value possible.

Tasted the fish and chips here- wasn't that hungry to start with, but cleaned my plate! Fresh, fat pieces of fish in clean tasting frying oil-served piping hot, and a pint of Alaskan Amber. Perfect- live music too! Thank you for a delightful afternoon!

Came for the food, stayed for the music. Sitka Tex, a guitar playing entertainer was singing the "old" time country songs and I just could not pass that up. Had fish and chips and they were excellent and my wife had chicken wings and she enjoyed them as well. Have several beers to chose from and the three we had were good. followed the waitresses suggestions. Easy to find, as it is on the corner across the street from Diamonds International Recommend this establishment very highly.

The halibut fingers I ordered tasted great, but at $18 for three tiny pieces of fried fish and a bunch of fries, I felt robbed. I realize they are situated right on the wharf where all the cruise ships come in and the real estate is more expensive, but there is something to be said about a business that survives solely on people who dine there once ever and are likely to never return. The locals do not eat there for a reason. Expensive food, expensive beers- double the price of local spots a few hundred yards away. The staff were very friendly, and it's a convenient location for tourists who only have a few hours, so it's not all bad. Just not what I'd expect from a local restaurant in the heart of halibut and local beers.

Struggled to find much open in Ketchikan after the cruise ships left but this place offered friendly service and typical USA fried food. Had the place to ourselves on a Thursday night but happy to recommend if you don't mind everything fried.
