We stayed in this excellently-sited and very comfortable suite for 3 nights in early July. It includes the upper two floors of Creek Street's oldest remaining house; the bottom floor is the workshop/studio of a celebrated wood carver. Next door is the "Dolly's House" museum, and your window views overlook Creek Street.
Jose was always friendly and helpful whether on the phone or via emails pre-trip. He picked us up from the boat harbor and carried our suitcases up the stairs.
The suite @ The Preacher's House includes a full kitchen, a fireplace/stove, a washer/dryer, living room, dining area, and 2 bedrooms with sitting room upstairs - as well as a 3rd story back door that opens right onto the hillside on "Married Man's Trail." Furnishings are comfortable and classy.
We could not have asked for a better location or more comfortable room. The only negative was the complementary ride to the airport ferry. The driver was 15 minutes late of the agreed upon time, which caused us to miss the intended every-30-minutes ferry and thus we arrived at the airport ½ hour later than we would have liked. But otherwise I cannot say enough great things about this place!More
