Enjoy gourmet seafood dining next to the most historic fishing fleet in Ketchikan. Try a complimentary sample of our delicious smoked salmon corn bread while ordering from our menu featuring alder-grilled salmon, halibut & chips, crab, and our famous smoked salmon chowder. “Great fish and Chips”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

We were told about this place by the concierge on our cruise ship. We had just finished with the Lumberjack show next door (really a lot of fun if you have a sense of humor) and wanted some fresh local seafood. Since it was too early in the season for fresh crab we decided on halibut fish and chips. Cod and salmon were also available. The wail is long...but it is worth it. The fish and the fries are perfect.

“Definitely worth the wait”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

We visited this restaurant after the Lumberjack Show. The food was very good, however it took a VERY long time to get it, so we didn't have time to do much else except take a very quick tour of the museum afterwards.

To be fair - There were 3-4 cruise ships that hit Ketchikan pretty close to each other. So, this great little town was bombarded with probably over 7,000 people in a very short time. This restaurant was truly bombarded. They were close to running out of fish!!!

The staff was great and worked as hard and as fast as possible to serve everyone.

I would definitely go again, but not on a cruise ship day!!

“Great food!”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

We visited the Alaska Fish House after seeing the Lumberjack show (don't waste your money, it's an advertisement for STIHL tools!) We were on a cruise and decided to have lunch off the ship for a change. We split a fish and chips basket (cod) and were sorry we did.... we wanted our own! It was SO good and fresh! Didn't care for the slaw, but the rest of the meal and homemade tartar sauce was great! Service was slow, but we enjoyed the great view of the bay and boats.
